This is a combo of Mohss's sky placeable and Sylvandroc's forest canopies. You really shouldn't have one without the other, and quite frankly I'm surprised no one has done this yet. I've edited the placeables.2da so these could both work together, and it also addresses the door placeable bug that was inherent with the sky hak. Kudo's to both of the original authors... this is what NWN shoulda looked like from the beginning. UPDATE - made new version to include Sylvandroc's forest canopy version 2 models. be sure to look at the included .txt file regarding using .erf files.
This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 4 that made this score of 10.00.

Well, this may be a bit old...Dradoc, if you still didn't know, type ~setfogdistance 200
That should clear things up :P

I really would love to use this hak, but the fog is too thick to see the skies! any suggestions?

I just realised my mistake in my response to you, Lorris -- if you read it, I apologise for my oversight.

Amurayi -- You can simply right click on the placeable in the menu and click 'Edit'. Then, under 'Appearance', change it to the clear sky.
Lorris -- If the size was enlarged, it would basically seem like a ceiling painted to look like a sky -- because it would be static, and move behind you as you move forward, et cetera. When it is linked to the player, the effect is much more realistic, for the same reason that when you were a child you asked your parents 'Why is the Sun following me?'

Can the size of the sky be inlarged? I have seen the hak
that links the sky to the player. But what about the muti
player larger maps?

The clearsky erf seems to be bugged. I get a placeable door
instead of the clear sky.
Drop me an email if you can fix it. Thanks.

Welp, I found a lil bit of time to whip out version two of
the Forest Canopy + skies hak combo, incorporating the new
work Sylvandroc has done recently (adding new placeables,
like fir, jungle, pine).
Be sure to look over the included .txt file, there are
some problems if you import .erf files, you wont have any
problems using the placeables wizard tho.
Take a walk through the included demo as well, see if you
can find tree models other than oak and maple ;-)
Have fun with this, I wont be able to work on this combo
any longer. Hopefully someone else will keep this up to
date in the future.

Ill like to see some servers using this mod in the near

ROFL, that's all you can comment about? lol...
That character is my fighter right after I finished the
original SP campaign, w/ default loot appropriate for his
level (16). Besides, how can you not like a flaming
sword? ;-)
I just saw that Sylvandroc released canopy hak version
2... expect an update to this combo soon.

I dont think so, but a compromise maybe?
Put a guy with a dagger of death +10 on next time!

Doesn't anyone wield daggers anymore in Hak-Pak
screenshots? Always some powerful, ubber magical item of
death +10.
