This is a merger of ThallionStellani's Alleys and Schazzwozzer's Galleons, two fantastic community contributions that I was not personally involved in. All I've done is to make appropriate changes to the ITP and SET files that will allow folks to use both these awesome additions to city exterior tileset in the same HAK file. Thanks also to Mr. X for his tileset tutorial. It inspired me to mess with ITPs for the first time. Also thanks to Chanteur and SegFalt for their ITP tool.
Just put this hak in your hak folder and you're ready to go. Both changes are part of the City Exterior tileset that came with the game. The Galleons are listed under 'Groups', and alleys are listed under 'Terrain'.
This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 2 that made this score of 10.00.

Yes, works with SoU, OVERRIDING the Turf House in the rural tileset!

Ok, I just came back from vacation and re-read Lady Oonagh's post, and here's a little announcemant for you, who like me, read this quickly through and didn't notice...
This hak WORKS WITH SoU!
And I think Actaeon (if he is still around) should change that feature.
Anyway, great combination :-).

Hmm... I have SOU installed and I wonder, do any of you know how I can get a version of this hak that is modified to SOU? I myself don't know much about changing how a hak works, so if anyone could perhaps upload a upgrade of it which works with SOU, I would be very gratefull.

I have to take back what I said. I think it was something with my computer. The hak seems to be working now.

I was wondering that too. I put it in a mod which I am still working on, and then subsequently updated the mod to SoU. Now I am noticing odd pink graphic problems (hard to describe) in my city tileset, so I'm assuming it's from the hak since I haven't noticed it in any other mods I've played or the official SoU campaign. Arrrggg - I really want to use this hak!

Does this work with SoU?

THANK YOU! I was trying to do just that- to have Galleons and alleys in my city and was having no luck. I was searching for the Galleons and Alleys HAKs so I could bring this point up but came across your merged HAK instad- exactly what I was looking for. Thanks! People really do benefit from these things so thank you very much for posting it!

Yeah, I figured a lot of people would have done the combination on their own - but then, I hope this might save people some time or help out someone who isn't familiar with ITP. Sorry it's a little late!

haha.
about a month ago i wanted to do that.
had no idea what an .itp file was so i asked both of the makers.
(i believe it was) schazzwozzer (that) helped me out by explaining the ITP tools. ended up combining the two hacks myself.
this could help me back then :P

Absolutely wonderful! I tried to do this myself
and failed utterly. Got masts and sails all over my little town... :-)
This is just what I needed!
Thanx!
