This is a modified Gothic Great Helm model i ve done for NWN, it has 4 colour schemes for greater customisation. It *should* work on most versions of nwn - there ain't any .2da modifications or anything. I ve done it under HOTU 1.61 and it still worked under HOTU 1.62. All you need to do is to extract the file (it ll have the .hak extension) and place it into your hak folder and then create it in toolset. If you encounter any problems let me know and i ll be glad to help. If you are already using some custom helm models and you don't see mine appearing you ll need to open the hak file, open the .mdl file in notepad (or textpad) and correct the model number to be 1 above the highest you ve got in the toolset. My helm model is 33 (the next one after the Bio's standard helms). Well, anyway - you get any problems let me know! :) UPDATE V1.1: added the model of a hornless helm - basically the same thing but without horns.Click on the small picture to see it.
I am not sure i understand what you mean :/
If you're trying to put the model into the override folder you wont see the model in game unless you're overriding some other custom model (not sure if that works either). You need to put the .hak file into your hak folder and then apply to a module in a toolset. Then create a helm using 34th appearence.
i tryed to make an override file from helm 34 plt with horns but it ses cant copy file it looks corupt or is it just my copy of the file My honor is my life
I ve just updated the hak to include the *hornless* model of that helm - click on the small picture to see the screenshot.Btw, i ve just got some free time to make things, so i ll probably start on some new models :)
Stay tuned and don't forget to vote:D
Very well done sugarloaf! For those of you not wanting the horns, you can download Gmax for free and simply import this model. Then remove the horn elements and export it. :)"Me Go Beer!" - Mr. Dave _________________________ Me go beer!

Well, i am working on a massive (ok, not really massive but i m doing it all by myself and i have a sort of time limit) project, so i can't really do much about this helm at the moment. However, once i m done, i ll be making more helmets (i ve already planned for a hellish counter-part for this helm), armour, ect. If you have a specific design, you could mail it to me (pictures only please) at [email protected] and i ll have a look at it once im free.
