This hakpack adds a variety of clothing additions that help make adventurers look more like well... adventurers - amongst the add ons are belt and back fitted scabbards (Bioware seems to think you keep swords in your backpack without any kind of sheath), backpacks, satchels and bags of holding (Again Bioware models seem to keep all their belongings in their back pocket), overall it just makes your characters look more convincing.
Looks great (at least the scabard on the picture, can't game-test it now).
Scabbards of European swords were worn at the left - It's much more difficult to draw a (right handed) sword from the right hip.
But wasn't there somethng like this around for a long time ("Adventuregear" or thelike, as much as I remember)?
Ryuujin, I would like your permission to edit the models in this hakpak to remove the impact, handconjure, and headconjure nodes, and to make Big phenotype derivatives. I have discovered that the three animation nodes in these models cause visual efects that have the OrientWithObject flag set to appear in the middle of the neck instead of orienting properly with the body. I want to be able to continue to use these models, but I can't unless I can make them compatible with our body-oriented visual effects. The obvious way to do that is to remove the duplicated animation nodes. Thanks!
Your Humble Serpent,
Snake

If you find the time, a new version would be great. CEP-compatible would be ideal, but I understand that it may not be a priority (or even something you want to do).
That being said, this version looks awesome. If you ever find yourself wanting to work on a different mod, look me up. ^_^____________________________________

It was not until I saw this pak in action in the Eye of the Beholder module that I realized what a large impact a small thing like this can have on a character's appearance. Beaut work"Et Eärello Endorenna Utúlien" _________________________ The Power Almighty rests in this Lone Ring.

I still think it is a very worthy hakpack to have (alright, perhaps not in the override). Is there anything from Ryuujin that is not worth it anyway :) ?
New scabbards, hmmm, belt and back versions, hmmmm, belly pouches and backpacks, don't ask *me*, or I might just try to lobby you to please making them for the community.

Just as a quick note to those who've replied recently. The hak was made over one and a half years ago - before SoU, let alone HotU came out. So I'd advise heavily against using it as an override.
I've known for a long time the sheathes were the wrong side however again this hak was made before jocco's armour maker existed so I had to manually export each model, so it'd have taken hours of tedium to re-export them the right way around.
I have pondered on the idea of making a new adventurers hak (Given my skills have improved drasticlly since I made this), but it's all just ponderings right now.

If I extract this into my overrides folder, will it work in a MP game? sometimes it works for me, sometimesnot, how can I tell?
Nice but the weapon sheaths are on the wrong side. Characters in NWN are all right-handed aren't they? It'd be great to see that changed - may seem like nitpicking but aesthetics are important... _________________________ "A sword is useless in the hands of a coward" - Nichiren Daishonin

My character actually looks like hes going adventuring.
Would you be able to make the japanese samurai back flag plz, cos that would look really cool with some samurai armor.

Hey Ryuujin.
You might want to update this at some point.
There is a very silly error in the parts_neck.2da
The last four lines are:
8 0 0.13
9 0 0.12
10 0 0.14
10 0 0.15
Anyone using this on their modules may want to extract that 2da to fix it, then add it back into the hak pack.
The last line should probably be 11, instead of having two lines listed as 10.
This might be one of the 2da's that the Aurora engine checks by ACTUAL line number instead of entered index number (the engine does some 2das one way, some the other) but it's probably safest to have this indexed correctly just in case.
Or just for the sake of being proper, in which case you could make the colums line up nicely too by adding one more space to index lines 10 and 11. ;)

Is there a way you can get this to work with DLA's Quiver Hak? And, or the DLA's Horse Riding Hak? (I know its just a beta hak, but its all we got), and the CEP.
The way it turns out.
This hak works great for everything but arrows. As your quiver looks like a, quiver for bolts not arrows.
But don't worry DLA already made a Quiver for arrows. So you can just add theirs to yours.
I've tried to do it myself. But everytime I get it working one thing would work, the others would be silver.
Or one thing would be silver, and all the rest would be working great. I can get your hak to work with the CEP, but not the DLA quiver, It works with the DLA's horse riding but not riding the horse. They work, they just don't work together.
Am I doing something wrong?

Hey there,
Great work you've done here, but I wonder if there is a chance you will also make another hak that will work with cloaks too like Rhedd's? Would really like these two working together.
