This is my first attempt at model building and I am rather pleased with the result. The model is a chitin helmet inspired by CODIs really cool robe and some of Morrowinds artwork. I created this and my cloud city tile-set for a module I am creating that should be entirely different from most anything Ive seen in the community thus far. However, thats a long time in the making so I will be releasing most of my models, like this first one, for the community to use in the meantime. I would love to see how it gets used so if you incorporate it into your module feel free to drop me a line and I could perhaps even tailor some modifications to make it more apt. Enjoy.
Known issues: -I have yet to figure out how to danglymesh the bandana. -The innerlinning of the helmet should be leather2 but despite photoshop color channel tweeking according to lisa's guide it keeps ending up cloth2.
Almost forgot the most important part; thanks to Danmar and Ryuujin for a bunch modelling information and help along the way. Also thanks to the community for the great tutorials.
Legacy vote. This helm has long been in our hak collection. Thanks for sharing your work.

It`s my favourite helmet. Looks great as a part of steampunk outfits.

I love this helmet. A very unique look, and finally I can make some magic items that include goggles! Thanks and great work!

@20
That's your opinion. Morrowind is one of the best games ever made, IMO. But that's irrelevant.
Excellent work, Dash.

Wonderfull! =) id love to see someone do morrowind weapons, it would be interseting to see how that would turn out....
Unfortunately Pag, I've been looking for a good PLT editor myself for awhile, but to no avail. I have been using Justin's PLT edit from here on the vault. It has limited uses, but works just fine for editing PLT color channels

Very impressive. I've not seen much work in this area, so this is a very good thing indeed."Et Eärello Endorenna Utúlien" _________________________ The Power Almighty rests in this Lone Ring.

Very nice. I think I'll be using this in a module I'm doing. It's a re-creation of a Darksun game, so this is perfect.
