This hak will form the core of my JXP Builder Set. It is compilation of high quality custom content that I feel complements and adds outstanding expandibility to the default tilesets. There is nothing special about this combination (except for the amazing content),it is only an effort to consolidate resources and insure compatibility. Thanks to all of the builders who contributed to the creation of this hak. They, not I, deserve full credit for the contents of this hak. If you would like to vote for this hak than I encourage you to vote for the original content creators listed below. This is one of several haks that I will be releasing that will combine common content in a modular fashion. Meaning:each file will be intended to use as a stand-alone hak or in combination with several other builder haks. They will be updated periodically and will form the basis for my own personal NWN creations. Just thought someone else might get some use out of them.
Contents: - DOA City/Rural Builder Base 2.1 (w/added Galleons by Schazzwozzer, Clerical Tower by MGSkaggs and Church by Partales) - DC Villages02a by Na - DC Dungeon01 by Na - DC City Interior by Na - DC Ice Caverns by Na - DC Doors v1.1 by Na - Velmar's Tower Interior v1.1 - Gestalt's Cavern Add-On Includes: Dwarven Hall by YumiChan & Illithid Pit by CODI - DLA Sewers v1.2 - Round Castle Interiors v1.4 by Yellow Lab w/Doors - Ship Interior by Nexorcist & Gutboy - City Interior w/Blank Rooms v2 by Veldin Includes: Stage by Zan Rebu and the Forest Barracks Interior by Stickgirl
This hak will be updated frequently primarily due to the DOA City/Rural Builder Base 2.1. There are many things that I am interested in adding. Though I may wait for DOA to add them first. In particualar Stilgar's Castle Set and the Ruined Castle by Daemogorgon. Both of which DOA has mentioned adding. If they don't I eventually will. I will also be adding Caravels along with some odd tiles I personally want to make use of. Please check in the file JXP_Master for details on combining the JXP Builder Haks.

Credit, where credit is due. This, at a time, was the best Base Tileset kit. It didn't have everything, but it had enough and it was small. (I think it's extremely silly to have a 1GB 'base download' for tilesets.)
I haven't used it in a while, but for those who want a tight, clean base to start with, making your own tilesets, this is the one. Just add in the newer stuff you want, to each Tilesets.
Peace.

*laughs* I don't know if you still check this, or if you've finally gotten your answer, but it's the DOA City/Rural Builder, with some minor additions.

V.Good compilation work,i used this last year in my mod and never gave you any credit. Thanks _________________________ Three Headed Troll Art Wurks
Excuse me, does anyoen still post here?
I have a question to ask, if I may.
I downloaded this hak a while back, and I'm interested in the Screens pic which has been placed at the top.
It has 4 different shots in it, but in particular, I am wondering about the one in the bottom right hand corner.
Could someone please tell me which tileset it comes from?
I rather like the look of it, with the marble columns in a row there.
This hak seems to be comprised of a number of diffrent things, but just seems quite confusing, and I can't really see which tilest it would be.
I have the same problem than some of you! My mod does compil but crashes when I try to start it.
It happened after I merge with a friend's mod. Both start correctly but when merged it crashes.
It seems the problem (on my side) appears with the DC Villages tileset, as soon as I place a placeable/trigger on it, the mod did not start anymore.
I have the elven tilesets, but did not use it (for the moment) on any area.

Hey guys and gals
Sorry I havent been checking these post. I have been away from NWN for the past several months and unfortunately do not at this time know when I might get back to work on the JXP Series. Hope everyone is still enjoying the haks and continuing to expand on the NWN universe. Though I will not at this time be providing support for the JXP series of haks, I would appreciate suggestions for expanding the series when work does continue. Take care all.

Excellent HAK Pak, but I have problems with the mini map. When I use the sandy beach tile, the minimap sometimes shows the square as water??... I remember there being a fix by DAO for this.
Also the shadows on the beach tile are sometimes square?? This can be rather anoying!
hey Irk, i'm definitly interested in those minimap images. drop me an email man. the set and itp files still confuse me, i understand what they do but i'm useless when it comes to altering them... thanks much. "Back to your box priest you had your chance."
Hi, i have figured out how to add those minimap images for the beach-tiles. So if anyone is interested, i could send the updated set-file along with the minimap images per mail or upload it to the vault. Only thing left to do is to add the files to JXP Base with nwhak.
you still around JDP? it's been months since we last talked, are you mad at us for something? whatever we did, we're sorry... we'll never do it again, we promise. we just want things to go back to the way they were before. you know; updates... bug fixes... torch lit feasts and the slaughter of magical beasts in an eye catching enviroment....
!warning kids! this is what happens when you drink fifteen pints of guinness.........."Back to your box priest you had your chance."
No go JGGG, it still crashes. I tried everything, even removing the loadscreens from the haks and still nothing. I have pretty much converted/rebuilt all my non-transferable areas over to Arnaden's hak and will probably stick with that one.
Thanks for all your help here and I hope for your sake JDPuffnstuff returns.
My Elven City files and custom 2da files are much lower in the list so this might be the problem. I will also check on the loadscreens and switch around a few things and test again. *crosses fingers*
*vile_master(contains my altered 2da files and JDP's altered Elven City set file and edge 2da)
*cep1patch
*cep2da
*cepanatomy
*cepbaseitem
*cepcreature
*cepplace
*cepportrait
*ceptexture
*JXP_Base
*JXP_Mountains
*JXP_Forest
*vile_add_on(contains more tilesets, creatures, and skies)
*Custom TLK- cep
i have both expansions and am patched to 1.62, i'm using all of the extra tilesets you mentioned plus a couple more, although i'm using the over ride version of the Cave Ruins.
i just put together a test module with the Rural Winter, Frozen Wastes, Elven City, and Ice Caverns, using the above hak configuration. i placed every feature, group, and terrain variation in each area. hooked the areas together and everything went well. tested it single player, multi player, and under the dm client. no crashes.
the only time i've had a problem with this configuration was when i had loadscreens entered after line 250 in that 2da, and i believe those were for the swamp tileset. whenever i entered an area that had a loadscreen assigned to it that was listed higher than 250 the game crashed.
wish i could offer a little more help here. drop me an email if you have any suggestions on things to test. "Back to your box priest you had your chance."
re-Kandelai
"Thanks JGGG for testing. Can you post your hak list in the order they are installed? It might help me and others to compare."
will do, i have to go to work in a few minutes. i'll post my hak order in the morning when i get out(8am est), i'm running late right now. i'll also do some more testing with buildings and 'fleshed' out areas, and try logging in as a dm.
"Back to your box priest you had your chance."
hey guys, i just added areas using the Ice Caverns, Elven City, Winter Rural, and Frozen Wastes tilesets, linked them all together and didn't have any crashes when i tested it, thankfully.
i'm using all three of JDP's tileset compilations, the CEP, and an additional hak i put together with more tilesets and some other stuff. everything seems to be working fine.
i know a while back the Elven City hak was updated and it fixed a problem with crashes. there's also a limit to the number of tilesets that can be used in a module, i believe it's 23... i'll do some more testing and report back if i have any crashes. "Back to your box priest you had your chance."
hey Kandelai, thanks for the heads up on the elven tileset. i haven't yet got around to building with the wastelands or winter rural yet. i'll put in a few sample areas, put the server up and see what happens.
you still out there JDP? "Back to your box priest you had your chance."
cyberbillp, I have been building/working on my module using the JXP haks for quite some time. It was only today that I started building using the Frozen Wastelands and Snowy Rural tilesets and received the same crashes when booting. It took me awhile to figure out that the Eleven Tileset is the culprit. Try removing it from the hak list and see if your module boots properly.
It is unfortunate because the Elven tileset is one of the best out there. After weighing in all the work I have done with these haks, I have come to the conclusion to switch to using another.
Arnaden has released a very similar hak pack with even more features/additions and his latest release plays nicely with CEP. The best part is most of the JXP tilesets transfer over well, except for the City/Rural Builder Base.
Again, this means I have to recreate the city areas, but given the fact JXP has not replied to any thread for more than four months is a clue for me to move on.
