This hak adds 4 new tilesets to NWN! In all they provide a fairly good transition from foothills to grassy mountain base to rocky mountains to a snowy mountain top. Try out the included demo module to see for yourself. Thanks to all of the builders who contributed to the creation of the hak. They, not I, deserve full credit for the contents of this hak. If you would like to vote for this hak than I encourage you to vote for the original content creators listed below. This is one of several haks that I will be releasing that will combine common content in a modular fashion. Meaning: each file will be intended to use as a stand-alone hak or in combination with several other builder haks. They will be updated periodically and will form the basis for my own personal NWN creations. Just thought someone else might get some use out of them.
CONTENTS: Mountains v2.2 by Community Effort (Lucifer Church, Adam Miller, Lost Dragon, DOA) - Added castle walls from Adam Millers original mountain hack. They are skinned the same as the walls in the rocky mountain tileset. - Bloodmonkey's Rocky Mountains v1.04 - Snowy Mountains v1.1 by Pasilli (w/Good Castle Add-On) - Elmer's Rural Combo (Renamed as Foothills) - ThallionStellani's Hills and Homes v1.25 for default Rural Winter tileset by Dark Angel - Pine Tree Placeables by Badger
1/10/04 - fixed wall gates in grassy and snowy mountains; fixed several errors in Dark Angel's Rural Winter Tileset Add-on including: doors for the Cloaktower, Caravan Wagon, and Turf House; removed blacksmith from itp file (the model was not included). Enjoy JDPuffnStuff

If you want the feel of traveling through or living on mountains then you got it. Excellent work!

very nice. The demo module is pretty good. I must admin that, at first sight... well... I'm really a fool...I've believed the screenshots were taken from nwn2 ^^
This is really damn good stuff, man! Thanks! _________________________ "But time flows like a river,

Nice tilesets indeed :-D
Few pathfinding issues with the mountain sets, and for mine lacking a few tile options eg trees for the snowy mounts. Trees etc would really help with area borders.
Maybe a beetle: my testing PC keeps falling through the walkmesh of the Ice Tower's balcony.
Cheers, and thanks a bunch :-D

very nice job, well done. will definately be using this in my module. the rocky mountains are just superb! only one criticism tho: put a few hidden areas in the preview module, maybe one showing off the walkways on the towers? i assume they are walkable, if not - then forget it :P good job. _________________________ Dawn of Darkness - module coming soon lol.

This is what I always wanted - especially the snowy part! Congrats on a job not only well done but superbly done. I love the feel of actually being in the mountains (Rocky Mountain part of Module). Brilliant!

I seem to have issues with spawned enemies being invisible. Has anyone had this same problem? If so, how did you fix it?

Only problem I saw was using roads to go up the mountians in the Grassy Mountain and Snowy Mountain tilesets (Reverts to Rural tile). _________________________ If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving is not for you.

This tileset is fantastic. I used it in Hythum II: The Halls of Kilgirn, a module I posted tonight. It's in the submission cue and should be available shortly.
Does anyone know if someone has picked up work on this combination of HAKs? Or know of any other comparable mountain tilesets?
I'm using this HAK for my own module, but it could use a few updates to make it CEP-compatible, use the newer Rural Combo version, etc. I'm considering making these changes and uploading to the vault, unless someone else has already done so.

All i can say is... WOW. This Hakpak is magnificent. I have been away from the game for a long time and have had a little difficulty getting started building again but... these tilesets are inspiring. I know this is a collected work but a big THANK YOU for putting it all together.
Its a shame that there isnt any rating system on this hak.. If there was i sure would give it 5 stars.. Its Wonderful..I am currently trying it out with 2 types of Mods.. I am working on creating areas for my Mod. What i am doing is creating 2 types of Monastaries. One Good and One Evil.. One in the Green mountains template and one in the Mountains (gray) template.. Its amazing what this can do. Especially with CEP.. As he said for using this with the CEP you need to put it at the Bottom of your hak list.. It works great.. But its a shame that it did not come with more scenes.. For changing areas... Cause snowy mountains is pretty much all there is.. Well Great Work.. For those who are creating " The Lords of the Rings " type mod i highly recommend this.. Cause with the Mountain templates you can create the great mountain scene in the movie with this.. Well i do have just one prob though.. There isnt enough building blueprints on the mountain template.. Other then that hope there will be a modif.. to this hak soon.. If not still great.. See you around someday..

If you put the CEP hackpacks higher in the priority list, they will override any conflicting entries with this one.

Hey, I have a bunch of suggestions for addons to your haks. I have been using them as of late in an effort to make an easy to use builder's kit, that is also a reasonable download size. I'd really like to contact you, but unfortunately your email isn't listed here. If you would like to get in touch with me, my email is [email protected].

Hey guys and gals
Sorry I havent been checking these post. I have been away from NWN for the past several months and unfortunately do not at this time know when I might get back to work on the JXP Series. Hope everyone is still enjoying the haks and continuing to expand on the NWN universe. Though I will not at this time be providing support for the JXP series of haks, I would appreciate suggestions for expanding the series when work does continue. Take care all.
