A very nice effect, these days most people have much better computers, so the graphics issue shouldn't be as much of a problem. _________________________ The VIVE NWN Project.

This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 9 that made this score of 8.44.

Just a point -- I've noticed the multiple feats bug before and I've never seen this hak until now and I still have not yet downloaded it. So I doubt that this has anything to do with it. One of those coincidences, y'know?

The fog really starts to look best once it starts getting some elevation. I notice that one-barrel and two-barrel heights are really good. You will be my hero if you make two or tree more 'invisible objects' of different heights that I can use to stack the fog on...

Okay, I ran some tests and the multiple rntries for certail
feats doesn't hurt a thing, it's just unnerving. :)
Holy Twilight Zone Batman!
Something really cool to do with the fog:
Make invisible objects, about 5, and stack them one on top
of the other. Give 1,2,4 the fog appearance and 3,5 the
dust plume appearance.
Very eerie.

Thanks for the great comments!
levelling:
I can't see the relation it would have to the levelling? It
makes changes to placeables.2da and adds a new particle
emitter model.
performance:
It will affect performance. Say it three times for
emphasis. How much it affects performance will depend on
the amount of fog placeables you use (the less the
better...), the fog setting in your area (the maximum is
best) and the speed of your machine.
I have an athlon 750 with 128mb ram, and a geforce4MX (not
a ti ) and I lose approximately 2 fps per fog placeable
visible on screen at a time. I will make a demo mod to
show the correct use for maximum performance and
atmospheric impact.
Try using the fog at the entrance to a mysterious castle,
in the middle of a haunted graveyard, maybe in some seaside
ruins or around a evil looking tower deep in an ancient
forest...

I found something strange going on when using this hakpak.
I was leveling up a fighter and noticed that there were two
entries for weapon focus. Then I noticed that the weapons
were not in alphabetized order anymore.
Later, the same duplication happened to skill focus and
improved crit. I'm not really sure whether or not it
adversly affects the character, as I left the game without
saving.
I'll run some tests to see if it is anything serious.
The fog is FANTASTIC by the way. :)

Wonderful to see - love Branden's HAK, but hate to loose
the fog. Now we can have both!

NICE! It's about time someone did a good looking fog.
To answer Dazear's question just from what I know about
graphics, this is a particle effect, video cards with low
memory and/or fill-rate will have a bit of a harder time.
Perhaps the creator can tell you just how hard it can hit.

Great work. What I'd liek to know is, does this slow the
performance down on lower end machines?
Thanks
