Ok, here are two varients of the Ogre Mage. One with a war-flag and one with the cape. I've also included in the.hak Naginata, a very common oriental pollarm weapon, as common as the Katana. All stats are based on D&D from the Oriental Adventures and Monsterous Manual. Gasious Form has been replaced with Ghostly Visage (it's just as good) and Fly, well, I'm thinking about those who don't own and can't afford SoU or HotU (like me for instance). I could tweak the thing forever, but I figured I'd leave some of the fun for others. ^_^ -
Updated with a generic ogre club (wood log with primitive metal spikes) for regular ogres to use, and a touched-up on the mage's chain shirt. Also, a capeless and no-cape/no-warflag version for those of you who don't like that sort of thing.
Please make sure to vote and comment, your opinions count. :) -Charlie

These are most excellent! You should consider submitting this to the CEP Team and get them included in the next update!
Though, for the record, Ogre Mages don't *really* look like the common Ogres; they're more human shaped, and not so gangly-armed and big chinned (Look in the Savage Species resource book. There's a picture of one there alongside a medusa and a mindflayer). But regardless, these are still most excellent indeed.

Mr. Gnomad:
Thank you for the comment. A single eyed/horned oni would be a nice addition, and would probably be best suited being made from an altered hill giant. Something else for another day. Someone could get some good reference for those from Yu-Yu Hagasho.
Oye Bolomi:
Maybe, but I have other things to do first. Maybe a Tasoli or Kapa or 5 Rings PC models.
Miss Nissa_Red: (Well I think "Miss")
I wasn't going for historical accuracy, more like megalomaniac in his oversized cape with oriental patterns (It's a photo of a Chinese Tapestry) with his hybredized oriental/western gear. The flag was requested by someone on the Bioware boards, so I looked up Japanese and Chinese warflags, and this is a hybred of the two.
My thanks to those who've voted.

I like Mr Ogre_MageD best :)
The cloak looks a bit weird on the Ogre Mage, which is supposed to be an oriental type monster. I always thought the long flappy cloak was typical of Western medieval civilisations (to display the blason), oriental cloaks being somewhat shorter but larger, to be wrapped around the waist to protect from the sand and wind, a bit like a poncho (please correct me if I am wrong).
The flag however is really a must : it even comes with the rings in the back ! The face also looks great, especially the eyes. I would perhaps have made the teeth with the same bony color as the horns. You need to look close to see them as they are black.
All in all, it's a nice addition, thank you :) (voted for you as well)
PS : Scratch the blank comment below, sometimes I really type too quick for my own sake.

just great!!!
Are you planning to make another oriental monster ? (it would be great...)
Thanks again

absolutely bloody fantastic. things i'd love to see are a version with nerither cape or flag (may be in hak, i just remember looking at the erfed ones), a big assed horn coming out of the forehead (first edition art). I know you asked for votes, I forget my password and am waiting for the email - but you'll get straight 10's from me. Also know that votes only get updated every coupla days so there may be a bunch of them.

Quick note.
Your hak is named ogremage while the demo mod included requires it spelled ogremagi, those of you who cannot get the demo mod to work need only rename the hak file.
