Ok, this is now officially the old version of my clothes hak and I am not updating its files anymore. A lot of items in this pack are limited to humans.***************My latest version can be gotten at this link CLOTHES HORSE SoU/1.3 Padded
In the new version, all outfits are available for all races and both phenotpes, the new version also has several outfits not included here at all. The new hak also has the child heads already added in.
My other addon packs may not be compatible with this version. I leave this up only for those who might need it for use in their older stuff too.
This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 82 that made this score of 8.35.

Marvelous! I bow to you madame!
One minor accuracy quibble, kimonos are traditionally very narrow at the bottom. I've worn one before and I can tell you, they are not easy to walk in (or breath in, for that matter).

No Bioware Outfits are affected in attributes or appearance by this hak. These are all non-replacing models. :)

I have made some of my own outfits using your HAK already, and I am very pleased. But can I confirm that if you use this HAK, it will not break any of the existing clothes and armour models?

When I click on the link, it takes me to the guest book. What's the name of the hak, specifically? You make so many, it's hard to keep up! But that's a good thing!
And I know, I hate how the gnomes legs connect to the torso amoung other things, that's why I usually find and make things with big belts, to cover up the bad look! ;)
Posted by Amander ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2003-06-01 15:45:00
I LOVE your clothing haks! They had such a KEWL element to the game play!
My only question is this: How come gnomes can't use a lot of your torso models and a couple of the skirt models? My main character is a gnome, and it's something I've wondered about. If a halfing looks good in it, wouldn't a gnome, since they are very similar body build wise? Or are there differences I haven't noticed?

This is quite a strange problem i am having and i don't know if anyone can help me with it.
I can not get this nor the DragonSkin Girl, etc. hak to work. I am not having a problems with any other haks, not even any other Lisa haks (I even downloaded the bathroom one just to test and sure enough, all the fixtures are there and everyone can be made nekkid, etc.), it is only this one which doesn't seem to work. It says it loads with no errors, etc, but none of the effects, skins, extra stuff, anything, is there or working. I have followed the directions and everything. These two are the only two i am having this problem with. Any advice is appreciated, thank you.

The numbering is strange, in the toolset the number of the part in the item set-up screen. The pelvis 017 is the toolset is the invisible one. Each time more pelvis clothes are added the toolset renumbers things.
BUT if you are messing about with the actual files for use in combining into a different hak, its actual model name is p***_pelvis038.* where the *'s vary by file. The readme file has at the bottom a list and explanation of the files actual out of game names.

Gamergeek,
Thanks for the help, but I already tried that. I also tried to go into the hak and find the files and read the readme again. No luck so far as I cannot identify the files exactly (network guy not graphics guy :) )
Anyhow it is not any of the pelvis choices, but it does make some interesting combos :)

Calstann:
I don't know why, but every time I've combined this hak with anything the numbering on the clothing changes. So it's probably there but it's just not 017...
Posted by Calstann ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2003-05-21 02:20:00
Lisa, Sorry to bother you but after putting all your stuff together clothing wise with the cloaks and spikes and dragonskin etc etc etc, everything is fine except one thing.
And that is that the invisible pelvis 017 is not invisible. Probably just need to recopy the correct mdl and/or plt files to my hak but cannot figure out which ones they are.
Thanks

The I,
I really don't know what is causing your problem - clearly something must be conflicting. I would really like to help, so I will email you asking for more details.

Great hak, think this is one of THE most important pieces of custom content. One problem though:
I'm running a social server and I'd like to have a clothing hack that doesn't fill 50+ megs, so i figured i might as well use yours, which is relatively 'light'. The problem is when i use this hack and try moving something in the inventory - sometimes just opening certain pages - my machine crashes! I've had this problem before with the Tharcion-haks, though not the one they use now, the strange thing that most other haks used on the socials works fine - and they've clearly got your clothing included to. Do you have any idea what might have been causing this - the problem has been there through several installations of both windows and nwn.

I only want to say that I love your work Lisa and that your creations are perfect, rather than leaving a message on all your creations (I don't know what ellse to call them) I think I could say it all here.

Apostolus,
I got my original directions from IceChild, Schazzwozzer, and Darkwoulfe. I just used the next numbers in sequence to the ones in the Original 2da files for each part and kept adding new ones in sequence. If you skip numbers in the 2da, the parts won't show up. If you add numbers to the 2da file, but add no model for it - you get blank items in the toolset.
The model numbers used in the filesnames are listed at the bottom of my readme. They are different from the part numbers in the toolset. I am not positive but I think the toolset numbers by armorclass but the toolset picks those numbers not me.
So if you are combining stuff with another hak that uses the same MODEL names (toolset #'s don't matter) then you will have to add new lines to the 2da using the next numbers in the sequence. Rename all the associated files for the model (texture, inventory pic...) and open each renamed file and change the internal references to the old name to the new name. You can do it in notepad. Tedious but easy.

Lisa, what convention did you use when naming the MDL and PLT files. Is it standard or did you create it yourself. I doubt the later since other body parts haks use teh same conventions. YOu might have guess that im trying to combine some body part haks and am having trouble. Any light you can shed ont the topic would be great.

Riblo,
Add the hak to the module, save the module and quit the toolset. When you restart, the items should appear.
Also make sure no other haks are interfering with the 2da files in this hak.

Very fine hak this one...
Only a problem I get...
I'm able only to build the normal robes but I cannot get the monkis dresses or the commoner's outfit...
Plz can you help me getting all things correct???
Posted by Stefan Gagne ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2003-04-14 18:00:00
Yeah, I can confirm that too; often when I'm playing a game using Lisa's outfits, it'll swap out textures with metallic ones or make body parts disappear when the game reloads. Not much to do about it, but fortunately you can tell right away and just restart the mod.
Since the comments got cleared (i hate it when that happens!) I'll add in my two cents 'o approval -- this is probably the most useful hak I've ever found, and I'm using it extensively in all my mods present and future. The monk's outfit and yuan-ti skirt go great in my oriental beat 'em up project. :)

Hi,
I just downloaded your clothing hack and I LOVE IT! The only weird thing is sometimes if I give my PC or even an NPC say a skirt one of two things happen:
a) The bottom half becomes invisible!!
b) The bottom half hanged color to silver!!
The problem only happens with certain out fits. ANd only onn and off ..
Do you know what is the reason? Any hints are grrrrreatly appreciated :)
