My 'from scratch' Mini-Sahara Desert Tileset Beta release. Includes 12 tiles, and 4 custom area transition loadscreens. Palms trees, sandy mounds, (2) caravan tents, (1) Market Vendor, (2) mini-Oasis, (1) Obelisk. This was made to add to the Egyptian Tilesets for a more authentic feel. *Adjust the area lighting for a different sandy feel.*
*NOTE: This is beta, it has been tested and seems to work fine. If you make an area over 12x12, you need a heavy duty graphics card. Mine bogged down on 16x16 with alot of Palm Trees, so be warned. If you need an area that big, tone down the number of trees.*
This will be added onto in time so watch for updates. You need winrar to uncompress this file. *The Screenshots in the NEWS RELEASE have my EComboV2 Hak Pak (Egyptian Placeables) Items pictured in them in conjunction with the Mini-Sahara Tileset.
This hak pak is no longer supported since SOU came out. _________________________ -----------------------------------------
Creation is 100% imagination, but hakpaks
are another story altogether! ;-)
This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 2 that made this score of 10.00.

I am really sorry to hear about your crash,I hope all was not lost. If it all was , look at it this way....now you know what you did so all you can do is improve on it.

Also, I know the map shows up blank, that will be addressed eventually, as I said, this is still beta to be updated.
Thanks everyone for the feedback and support! =)

Looking pretty good. I'd make the sand less of a yellow color though.

Looks good!! Are you considering placing some larger dunes in the tileset for that deep sahara feel?

I am aware that the custom loadscreens are a little off, and will be fixed for the next release... Thanks Vilance also.

Just so everyone knows, this is BETA right now, bug will be troubleshot and more will be added in the near future. Also, the WALL in the pallete doesnt exit, I just forgot to take it out of the .set file, sorry folks.
NA, the floor does look that way in the toolset IF your area lighting is OFF in the toolset, when you adjust area lighting, the sand looks fine.

Change the line Grass = to 0 in the set file. I really didnt check your default but with Grass = 0 i was getting 123 fps in a 16x16 area.
The wall doesnt want to paint for some reason havent looked at it yet will later tonight. Also need to find what is going on with the floor. It's bright yelow in the toolset but looks like about the right color in game.
