Adds multiple different variations of a Magic Mouth placeable to the game. Still and talking mouths to place on walls and floors. Included in the zip file you will find the HAK, an ERF to import into the toolset after you've associated the HAK with the module you're working with, and an example module.

Dobervich, your Magic Mouth has been one of the most fascinating things in NWN as far as wondering how it was done. I salute you and your incredible work. A 10!

This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 14 that made this score of 8.37.

Oops, that last was posted to the wrong place. I meaning to comment on the CEP placeable pack, which is excluding the magic mouth because it is not thematic. doh!

"Magic Mouth" is marked as not being "thematic". This is not correct; magic mouth is one of the 3e D&D spells, and the imagery used in the .hak is exactly correct. Thus the Magic Mouth placeable is indeed properly thematic.

Very cool.. muchas gracias.

Can I make a request to you? when you're doing the names in the .2da files, any chance you could make them.. well, a bit easier to spot which bits are yours. I still manually combine .2das, and this hak + your fireflies (both fantastic bits of work, don't get me wrong), it took ages to find them in the .2da files- the fireflies in particular, it confused the hell out of me when butterflies appeared twice. you get my point- and its a testimony to how cool your stuff is that I stuck with it! ;)
keep up the great work

I really like the way you (and various others- like Lisa
and Den of Assassins) are going with haks. Not the mega-
monsters and tilesets route- but little detail and plot
things that add loads of depths to mods. we Like, we like a
lot :)
PS not that I've got anything against Big monsters and
tilesets, they're great fun too!

Now this I think is a very cool addition.. thank you for
this :D

I actually live in Denton, the home of happiness, as it is
described in the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Well done!

The Rocky Who Picture What?
Posted by Oddbod ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2003-02-05 16:37:00
I'm sure you don't mean you actually got the mouth graphic
from the Rocky Horror Picture Show, because that would
present a problem with copyrights.
What you must have meant is that your graphic was
*inspired* by the one from RHPS, right?
Posted by dobervich ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2003-02-05 15:46:00
*laugh* I was wondering how many posts it would take for
somebody to place the origin of this mouth.
Half the credit goes to Jason Robinson, it was made at his
request for use in a module of his.

Great job on the mouth, but...damn it creeps me out. It
reminds me waaay too much of Rocky Horror Picture Show for
me to ever want to use it in my module or see it in
someone elses.

Nicely done, dobervich. Thanks for working on this.

This has neat possibilities. I was disappointed when the
original toolset did not ship with one of the staples of
D&D - the Magic Mouth.
