This is a retextured tileset. I have combined features from three of the original Bioware sets, and retextured them for a mountain terrain. It includes Mohss' skies, so there is a placeable.2da in the hak. If this is not wanted simply replace it with yours. The set includes cliffs, hills, pits, and suspended bridges. The purpose of the set is to reproduce a sparce mountainous region, so there are not that many buildings in the set. There is four basic structures. I do have plans for a Mountain Village, but that's way in the future.
This is a v1/beta release. Basically all of the retexturing is done. There is an issue that I am currently trying to resolve with doors (it won't let you place any). I am working on the two original tiles as we speak. I am releasing the set to get criticisms and feedback so that I can improve the set. Thanks to Velmar, who sent me the grassrim texture extracted from a DDS and for his criticisms. Thanks to Mohss for his skies placeable. And thanks to Thallion for his Hills. These are used in the set. Additional screenshots are at my site.
This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 10 that made this score of 7.60.

Hello,
I have returned. After cutting myself completely of from NWN for about nine months (to go to school), I have decided that all serious computer work and no fun was....no fun. So I'm back.
Give me a little while to get back up to speed on things, and I'll see what I can do about an update.
I'm glad to see that the hakpak was so well received. If anyone could direct me to a module or server, where it is in use, I would love to see it in action.
Feels good to be back,
GU

This is one of my most favorite tilesets yet since the release of SoU it is the only one that I use that prevents me from using the new placeables in SoU. Any plans on working around this? Ah well. For now I will have to get rid of the areas I did use this and wait and see if you have plans to update or not. It would be a shame if you didn't. Alot of use this tileset gets on many a server.
Good Luck and great work...simply fantastic!

Quite appreciated!

Well, I managed to get it working. First of all, it was asking for version 1, not version 1.1. All I had to was change the hak file name, and it worked.

I love this tileset, and I've used it to build three gorgeous areas in my mod. But there seems to be a problem: Whenever I try to test what I've built, I get a missing hak pack error, claiming that I need MountainPass v1.1. Any ideas? If I can get it working, these areas will go into the PW I'm working on (which will be using the Player Guild System that Samius and I created). Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

I really love the look of your work, and your
incorporation of so many features. Raise, Cliffs AND
hills! Wow.
I'd vote it a 4 1/2, but the vote counter is not working.
You should update your screenshot, because the tidying up
of the grass aorund the raised tiles has made a huge
diference to its appeal.
Good work.

Well...we got a pretty good bit of downloads. Has anyone

Looks neat. If you could trim the tiles to get rid of the
grass trim around the hills, or atleast turn it to
rock/dirt, it would look much better.
cheers

Doh!!! I overlooked a BIG thing in this tileset...the
minimap. I'm getting right on it. Rest assured that any
future release of MP will be compatible with work all
ready done with the set.
Sorry,
GU

Now this is some nice work! Good job man and keep it up!!
Can;t imagine how long this took you to do...

Oh yeah...v1.1 also has the doors for the two remaining
buildings that do not have doors in v1.

Glad you liked it kuthulu. You might want to get v1.1.
It fixes a couple of door problems. If you don't want to
download it again, you can edit your tmp01.set file. Just
renumber the door tiles to match the tiles they are meant
to be with. Just got in from work, I'll put v1.1 up in a
few minutes.
Thanks,
GU

This tile set looks great. Just downloaded it and now have
to re-build module. :-)
I'll post more feedback once I start the module re-build.
