Description
Neverwinter Alleys Tileset Addon By Thallion Stellani This tileset addon places alleyways into the existing city exterior tileset. To use this addon, include the hak in your module, and then use the existing city exterior tileset. Alleys has been added as a new type of crosser. Alleys must be placed over buildings. Sometimes it is difficult to see the crosser cursor due to the geometry of building tiles, however it is there, I have found it is sometimes easiest if you have a straight down look when you try to place alleys so you know exactly where the cursor is. NWN version when hakpak released 1.26 Changes to the following files: tcn01palstd.itp tcn01.set 27 Additional tiles. To contact the author of this hakpak, go to nwn.bioware.com and send a private message to thallionstellani Revision History: Version 1.0 - First release. Was Beta tested prior to release. Version 1.1 - Added in MiniMap Images

This is small becuase I have used no new textures. Donot be fooled by the small file size.

VezyrinTirlacq is right. FYI: for my (WIP) module I have already made my own fix of this problem (sorted by moving the tile numbers of the new 1.69 additions, not the tile numbers of the alleys, because I didn't want to break all my old areas containing the alleys). If enough people want the fix, I can put it up on the Vault.

Warning: This HAK will overwrite any Merchant Ship or Weathered Ship City Exterior Tiles added by Patch 1.68

When adding this HAK to a 1.68 module, the above-mentioned tiles are no longer available in the City Exterior Tileset, and all previously placed Merchant Ships and Weathered Ships have become Building Tiles intersected with Alleyways.

EDIT: Never mind, I figured it out. I didn't know you had to move the .hak file into the hak folder, because CEP does it for you ^_^

Posted by Zog the Stout at 2007-12-01 05:25:57
Sorry, but I'm really confused......

I've opened and saved the folder, but I can't open the file, nor can I Import it on the Toolset, or add it as custom content in the module, which are the ways I have got add-ons from this site to work in the past.

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Clever and unexpected. A favourite.

After using this, I can't imagine the city tileset without it!

Well played - highly useful, beautifully implemented.

I'd vote higher than 10 if I could. One of the nicest and most useful hak files, period.

I finally tried this and it rocks. I especially love the alleys with the buildings connected above them. This is going to give just the right feel to a city I am building.

The new vault system sadly won't accept my votes. So I'll just leave this comment here:

Still one of the most brilliant hakpak designs ever.
