This hak pak contains four of Okto's fog and smoke placeables, modified so that they are tinted by area lighting for a more natural effect (like the waterfall splashes instead of just glowing neon colors). The models and texture are identical to Okto's placeables, modified by me. The fog model is now also affected by wind, to create a nice rolling look when wind is on. Picture is kind of hard to see, but it's a small download so enjoy.

Thank you for your contributions. I know I'm late to the party by more than half a decade, but thanks anyway. :)

Pretty nice. Maybe add a fog that is a bit thicker.

SBird -- I tried experimenting with the positioning of the emitters in Okto's models, but placing the emitter any higher causes the fog to look really bad, with pieces of it visibly popping into the environment. You can try experimenting with this yourself, though -- export the .mdl files from the hak and open them in notepad. In the fog model there is only one emitter, and somewhere in that block of properties are the settings for its position. Try fiddling with the z-position value.

Nice work!
I like what you have done with my VFX. The reason I did not add those effects is I didn't need them in my own module (Which I have to restart from scratch with HotU :-/ ). Maybe I will extend my pack with some wind-affected ones too.
Thanx for the idea!
