Some CEP cave tiles also get roofs with this. They look so much better now :)

Very nice work on these. A "simple" addition that makes a ton of difference without messing up areas previously created with the default BioWare Mines & Caverns.

I especially like how light from torches plays off the various surfaces as you walk through caves and tunnels. Much more immersive than when going through with a "missing" roof/ceiling.

Very nice. I used this as an override for a long time. I had to really hunt it down to find it again for the Hak in my module. The fading is perfectly set, and the roofs add a whole new dimension to my underground areas.

chaos_theocrat: I've begun investigating the crash with the door transition. While checking on it, I couldn't find any real difference between the tile in this hakpak, and the tile straight out of BioWare's .bifs. So I then tried re-exporting it with NWMax and continued experiencing the error.

I exported the raw model and wok using NWExplorer and put that directly in the hak. This cleared up the error altogether. In fact, since the tile appears to have no actual changes, and this is intended as an overwriting version, removing it from the hak should fix it and default back to BioWare's tile in the BIFs.

I have Hellfire's contact info, and will see if I can get my fixes to this tileset uploaded when I'm done.

While I do love this set, there are two
bugs that I noticed... the first is that
whenever you place the door transition on the map, you get an access violation error. Then, after it's placed, if you put a door in it, you get the error all over again. The second, is that halforc players cannot seem to be able to fit through the dragon-mouth cave exit. Neither of these bugs occur with the standard Nwn caves and mines set. If these two errors (especially the door transition one) could be fixed, this would be a flawless tileset, even more than it is now, and a staple for use in all my modules that have caves in them.
(Right now, sadly, due to these bugs I can't use this set in all of my mods.)
Here's to hoping those bugs can both be squashed! Good luck, and farewell 4 now.

If you try and search the vault for 10 - 15 seconds, you will find three versions of thisd set, this overwriting version, an overwriting version for the override folder and a nonreplacing hakpak.

Hint: Click the Author's name and then click on "Show this users submissions"

This is a superb hak. Any chance of editing the .set and .itp files to make it non replacing? I'd love to add it to my PW, but the only caveat is that it would break so many existing areas.

yes.. The coming update will include pits and lava, and use Gestalts naming convention..ala his set and itp files (Modified)
the update will also include about 4-6 new groups and about 8-10 new features

Is the Gestalt stuff coming in the next update? I'm not seeing it with this or with the override version. Also, if we use gestalt's caves, will the override give roofs to all the tiles?

I have added pits and lava now. the set is very much like Gestalts caverns now. but with ceilings. as a matter of fact I used gestalts ITP, Set, and naming convention. I will make sure to give him proper credit. Does anyone know of a good raise lower addon for the caves.. I will add that.. and I will consider this set complete.

When I update the caves this time.. I will also fix the two stairs up
