(heh... This must be a joke.)Have a look at that:
"Invalid Character - player login refused. Bad Strref"
That error jumped at me when I was trying to download the created character in a module.
What does it means and how can I get it outta my way?

I love this hak and it was exactly what I needed. I hope you are still working on more creations.

It keeps on saying "Fatal error no .2da skills aborting creation" why?

You could also use it with leto ... This model is distributed in a hak file. Put it in your hak directory. Associate it with your module. Run leto and select appearance kobolds (or something like that). Save your character. Load up the module with the associated hak file. Select a premade character. Select your kobold. Have fun.
That's pretty much all there is to it... You could also take all the files in the hak file and put them in your override and use it that way instead.

lol damn you people are slow... you have to get the CODI Character Creator then associate this hak with it and voila you'll get the kobold_pc under appearance tab (at the very bottom) Pick it and there you go you're now a little slightly-over-workout-enthousiastic kobold.

I've checked the posted comments and i realized that no one was answring the common "How can I use it?" Question. I am very disapointed

Lizardmen, and drow! drow would kick @$$!
Posted by Lost Dragon ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2003-08-15 18:19:00
This is neat. I actually (truly) wish someone would do the "old man", and "old woman" so that they could use regular clothes.
A "human male/female child" version of this would be nice too.

I think those kobolds look fine without scaly chests. Having them topless might be a different matter, though, but let's face it, do we really need topless kobolds?

I second the motion for Orcs in Pimp suits.

ok heres the deal about the scaled skins i can't do this because the game it's self will not let me use any textures other than the ingame ones for dynamic body parts so if you want a scaled torso he won't be able to wear armor now what i could do is make lke a torsonumber 202 or somthing number way out there then i can use my own textures but you would have to set that in the toolset i don't know how it would work in the character creator tool as for goblins and gnolls and all that other good stuff it's on the way me and d&d geek are planing on making them all happen i'm also planing on making a kenku thanks for the feedback

Funny sign- Orc in pimp suit. Make it happen people.
Posted by Dradjeel ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2003-08-12 02:01:00
Here's the deal. You can either have variable skin tone and the ability to swap the bodypart out, or a nonstandard body texture.
Lisa's scaled bodyparts require the making of custom outfits solely for the kobolds, which may or may not be a feasible option, depending on the uses the model is put.
Posted by Mireldeyn ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2003-08-12 00:03:00
I really don't know what I'm talking about, but if the kobold's body part models are the same size and shape as a haflings, (Meaning they have all the same clothes) Lisa has a Scaled Body part included in her clothes hak for all body parts... Not sure if this help, because the Kobold is probably just a different model with different sizes, therefore less clothes...

Simple, but effective.
I wonder, however, can you texture the arms and chest with scales, as is if any portion of the variable parts are not covered by armor, a very human looking arm, leg, chest, etc, is revealed. Something to work on I suppose.
