Huge piles of gold! 9 placeables designed to make even the most bad tempered dragon grin. The textures are by Lupin III. I have also used a few items from the DOA base items pack to make the piles look better. Thanks to everyone who helped me make these placeables.

All dragons are in your debt. I hope they will remember that when you next time play NwN! Quite original idea. Looks really good.

This fills a need that any real Dungeons and Dragons module has. What kind of real dragon hoard doesn't have piles of gold? _________________________ World of Aenea (Hall of Fame PW and the origin of all my works)

How you make the Dragon Sleeping?

LOL! Looks like great. Haven't tried out yet but surely it looks like promising. Good work. :)

Looks great! Now my dragons won't be so sad. :)

Thanks for your help guys. :)

Great improvement on a good idea.
Now it's good enough for me. :)

Hey, glad you liked the texture. Now that you have it online I'm going to go ahead and take those files off my website.

GK, thanks for the help but I am gone for Lupin's texture (cheers Lupin!). U removed the floor tile because it looks so bad it was making me twitch. Added it back in now that I have a decent texture. I will update the pack when it lets me (getting error messages at the mo).
Posted by GK ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2003-08-07 08:28:00
After looking at Lupin and my texture screenshots, I have noticed this:
-His looks better by far, but
-Mine kinda looks more suited, as its the same color as all NWN Gold
Lupin's still looks better though. and Bloodmonkey, why did you remove the floor tile?

Great placeables, especially with these new textures! One problem though. I can walk right through the piles until my character has completely vanished. Any way to fix this?
Posted by Wolfsong ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2003-08-07 00:36:00
@Lupin III
Good texture. With your texture and a retexture work of the model so we get rid of the outstretched parts it would be great.

NASTY textures.
Posted by Bloodmonkey ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2003-08-06 09:43:00
Adam, these are placeables, including the floor tile. Any idea where I can get better textures?
Posted by Adam ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2003-08-06 09:35:00
Hmn... it is a good effort, but I think that this concept would be better carried out via PLACEABLES rather than a floor tile given the way NWN works.
Huge piles of gold as a placeable would probably work better because it'd look / seem more realistic, and you can better interact with them.
Posted by Bloodmonkey ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2003-08-06 09:14:00
I know the texture on these is poor but it was the best I could find(my artwork sucks). If anyone knows somewhere I can find a better texture let me know or e-mail it to me.
Cheers

Good idea. Now my ancient dragons will be happy. May need some new texture work though.
Posted by GK ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2003-08-06 06:04:00
This is a GREAT idea and concept, but worm is right, you should work on the texture, I'm sure thats whats turning most people away. If you improve it, this gave me the idea of having a Great Wyrm Red Dragon for my PW guarding all of this stuff...
Posted by Classic ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2003-08-06 01:44:00
How about a screenshot from above (normal NWN view)?
Posted by worm ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2003-08-06 00:04:00
The idea is good but u should work more on a the gold texture theese placeables look like yellow splats or gold rocks
