Halfscan? Is it okay to say that I love ya, man?! Because this is one freakin' fine hakpack!! ^_~; Oh man, I've waited AGES for a good slime hak to appear, and was annoyed when BioWare only included one slime (Gelatinous Cube) in the XP-packs! >_< Unlike all the other haks I've seen, yours is slick, well-drawn and wondrously rendered! Thanks for the slimes! :-)

Status update,
I've added a couple more slimes. Red Amoebid, Blood Bloater, Flotsam Ooze, Reekmurk and Purple Moss.
Most of the coding is done. I'm just adding a few final touches. I'm also waiting on halfscan to create a few more models by request...
And testing...

Woot! Great news.
I'm looking forward to the updated models.
I've currently have scripts for:
Black Pudding, Brown Pudding, Crystal Ooze, Dun Pudding, Gray Ooze, Mustard Jelly, Ochre Jelly, Slithering Tracker, White Pudding, Green Slime, Olive Slime, Olive Slime Zombies, Undead Ooze, Diger, Livestone, Magma Ooze, Mercury Ooze, Symbiotic Jelly, Vampiric Ooze, Bone Ooze, Brown Mold, and Yellow Mold.
All I have left is the Ethereal Ooze and the Flotsam Ooze.
Now that I've been able to take a look at a model that has working alpha textures (DLA's "Treant") I see how to set up the model and texture correctly, so soon I'll be uploading my "final" version of this hak with the incorperated textures.

My other comments got erased somehow but this is such a great pak that I felt the need to repost them.
Great work! There are several slimes/jellies on the vault and not *one* of them ever worked properly. Not only do these work, they are very well made. Thanks for the effort.

wow surprised some other guy did some of yours hehe, I think maybe you should do them in both versions and let people download either, with a note about enabling evironmental shadows on critters. If you want to go even further you could do an erf with there special ablities and/or scripting that show off there ablitities for people who do not know what their doing or do not want to do it. I thank you for all your had work on them though. For example using a modified version of the rust monsters scripts.

Have to agree about the textures myself. One my machine all the slimes appear black or very dark.
Excellent work though, definately worth the download.

Wow, nice. I like the slime trails, but I think the old textured one looked better. These ones seem too clear, alittle more darker on the gel colors. I think I will texture them, but just keep the changes to myself because everyone else prob. love this. It all about personal like or dislike. GREAT JOB :) is the slime trails down with the talk file? I still learning the custom stuff. It just amazing what we can do with this game that always surprises me. :) Thanks again

Barring any crisis, by the end of this week.
The portraits aren't going to take very long.. the extra time is figured in because I am flirting with the idea of 3 sizes for each model.

Well how soon, because I already started to retexture these and was going to put them out, but if you doing all the differant slimes then I stop and wait alittle.

Updated version coming shortly. Fixed the shader problem, added slime trails, and totally revamped the texturing (the models are now untextured and use material lighting to get the proper colors, custom env maps keep the models from looking 'flat'... it works pretty well, and this method helped me work around another minor annoyance I had with the models). Got rid of the custom sound set, since HotU now has an ooze sound set.
All that's really left is making portraits for the 10+ slimes/oozes/puddings/jellies.

For whatever reason, the in-game model-name of this creature is Null Human (2), I will attempt to fix this. Love the model!

It happens when you turn "creature shadow details" down a notch in the video options. I'll send a screenshot.
