This is a hak contains a collection of new spells. All of the spells come from various PnP sources. Blueprints for scrolls are included, as well as a hak modifying the treasure scripts to allow the scrolls to drop as random treasure. The spells should run correctly on NWN 1.61 with or without any expansions but I have no way to test it except with all expansions installed. There are two versions of the hak, one that uses a modified dialog.tlk and one that uses a custom tlk.
HIF files for my hak installer tool are included, use these versions of the files instead of what ships with the tool. The tool is available at http://nwvault.ign.com/Files/other/data/1076838606000.shtml. I have added support for the PRC pack version 1.9, I have included an additional hak and tlk that merges my spells with the PRC data. See the readme for instructions on how to use both haks. For a complete list of spells with descriptions, see the readme. A test module is included allowing you to try out the new spells. It includes an NPC to level your char, a chest with money, and a merchant with scrolls of all of the new spells. It also includes an endless spawning area of zombies to use for target practice. A conversion program is included to covert characters using older versions of the pack to the current version, REQUIRES MICROSOFT .NET FRAMEWORK 1.0, available at http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=D7158DEE-A83F-4E21-

This is an awesome spell pack. Highly recommended.
Updating to 1.69 would be nice, but since I'm having to splice 2da's with my custom ones already, it doesn't really affect me.
Thanks for all the hard work.

9.00 for now, but I'll vote 10.00 if you release a version for HOTU 1.69.
The .txt file linked there has all the spells. Although, I do believe this is rather out of date by now. BleedingEdge hasn't been working on the PRC/NWN for quite some time. _________________________ Head of the Player Resource Consortium http://www.nwnprc.com
Ok, super-newbie here. I downloaded the pack, put all the files in their relative places, used the Hakinstaller to install the file to the basic campaign and HoTU, and still I can't get this new spells. The module doesn't work, saying I need SoU installed. Could someone help me?

I love the hak.
More importantly, I ESPECIALLY love that you took the time to do it right, and changed the iprp 2das, etc, and even tossed in scrolls!
Nodata - if you get a tlk editor from the vault (lots of them, pick your flavor) - simply open the cep tlk and open the new spell tlk files so that you have them side by side.
Find in the new tlk file where the series of spell names and spell info is at.
If you click 'new', then put in the tlk line number (the # is right on the screen), a popup shows you what the text is. Copy that, then do 'new' on the cep tlk file. Paste the info in there. Basically that's it. Copy from one, paste to the other.

Has anyone made a tlk file with this that is compatible with CEP 1.5?

I've added this to my PW but I'm having a problem. I've got the tlk file set and the spells 2da set. I can give the spell to NPCs, it appears in the toolset for item creation, players can learn them when they level up and cast them. However, they spells are not firing from scrolls or wands. I can -put- the spells on scrolls in the toolset and they are assigned a monetary value correctly, but they can't be used in game.
Does anybody have any idea what might be wrong or where I should look next for what might be wrong? _________________________ I am willing to suspend my disbelief,

Nope no uninstall, but my spells are part of the PRC pack now so you can get them from there.
Almost all of the scripts were in the hak, so you can just dump my spell pak hak and tlk files and use the prc module updater, and you should have everything working find in your module.

Do you have an uninstaller? I like this but I can't get PRC 2.1 to work with this. Any suggestions on easy uninstallation, because I put this in every module and it is taking forever to remove this.
It's been a while since I looked at the script but MMM should only be porting people in the same area in. I'll double check when I get a chance.
If you want to modify the scripts for a PW, just extract them using nwhak or your favorite erf/mod/hak utility. I would, however, recommend that you get the scripts from the PRC pack 2.0 instead of this.
Bug or not I do not know, but Mord's Mansion will teleport everyone in your party into the mansion even if members of your party are in different areas of a module or PW.
Also if I may is it possible to get the spells in an erf form for import into a mod? Or is that not possible with the way they are done. Reason I ask is there are a few I would like to modify just a tad for our specific PW to make them a wee bit less potent than what they are.
The PRC pack required HotU, so by extenion my stuff will when it moves over.

The ERF file requires SoU and HotU; however, if you install it with HAKInstaller, you can seamlessy make it work with a plain NWN module. It would be cool if it continued to be so.
This is the last version of my spell pak. All of the spells (and any future spells I do) will be include in the PRC pack as of version 2.0.
I've been holding off on doing any new spells due to having other stuff to do for the PRC pack (installers), having less free time, and other spells were going in besides mine and I didn't want to duplicate what the other people had done.
Once the dust settles on PRC 2.0 and any bugs in my installer get squashed, I'll start working on more spells.

Is there going to be more spells coming very soon for this pack? Just wondering if i should go ahead with it now, or wait for prc consortiums new hack, and then for a possible update here.
Just a question if this project is still going.... and if so where?

uhm sorry, looks like it isn't a spellpak's fault
now i'm really confused....

Erm, I didn't know about the messed up icons, no clue how that happened. I'll check to see if it happens here.
Regarding spell balance, I don't balance the spells just do them from the pnp sources as is. People can then use / not use them as they see fit. There is definately some book creep in the pnp game though.
Mass cure crit should be level 8 and mass heal should be 9 unless I messed up. NM I just checked the spells.2da and mass heal is 8, it is 9 in pnp. Dunno what to say about that.
There´s a spell in the spellpak (I forgot it´s name) that cures the target from disease, poison, confusion and a lot more and the thing is that it´s of the same level as Neutralize Poison making this last one realy realy useless. Maybe wasn´t a good idea to put the former at a higher level?
The same occur wth Mass Cure Critical Wounds. It´s of the same level as Mass Heal???!
Anyway, only a comment. We can certainly live with that.
I´m posting this to let you know of a possible minor bug. Everything works great it´s only that the spells of type Mass Cure * Wounds apear on the spellbook without icons.
I´m using the spellpak 1.23 and PRCC 1.10 in the HoU campaign but I´ve tried in some other modules and the result was the same.
