This is a set of tiles that can be used to build a (round) tower interior. It contains two sets of tiles, one darker and one lighter version. All tiles are embedded as features. This comes with HiRes DDS and LoRes TGA. Loadscreens are also included This is v1.1, more tiles are certain to be added later.
Please post comments, problems and suggestions here : http://nwn.bioware.com/forums/viewtopic.html?topic=161284&forum=48 This file has been updated to 1.1, two more tiles have been added.
Long over due in voting for this one. Perfect for matching the interior of shape towers to the exterior of the structure. Easily makes tower rooms in 2x2 and 3x3 (with the 1.1 blank tile add on) sizes.

This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 4 that made this score of 7.75.

A few things: I'm experiencing a weird shadow thing when I place a transition door, it is shadowed on the whole tile except a small cone coming from the door...it's really strange. Overall your set is great though.
One addon you should put: a tile for the center of a tower that has both stairs up and stairs down, so kind of like an elevator in the middle of a building. I think that would be awesome.
BTW I am using SOU patch 1.32 and your hak says only up to 1.29, that might be the reason.

Does this hak need 2da fix for patch 1.30 ?

Any particular reason why this tileset is implemented as placeables rather than terrain (it's makes any large area hard work!)
Great idea for a tileset. Keep 'em coming!

Hi, trying to use the tower interiors but its making the
game crash on loading the module. Rural_tower set works
fine. This error seems specific to this hak as transitions
to other interiors are working..any thoughts?
thanks

@Wolfsong:
Good idea :)
Will do...

Once again a great update.
But I think you should update the title as well so people
really know what version it is, even if they don't enter the
description page.

Decclan,
I had the same problem ecxactly installing the 40.72's. I
would get the same error pop up. After you try installing
the 40.72's it dropps a folder in
C:\Windows\Nvidia\Windows9x\40.72 - even afer the error.
From there get the readme. And follow it exacly concurrent
to your Operating System.
I did - and it installed fine. It's just going to run you
trough installing a default VGA driver - rebooting then
browsing to the Nvidia folder and running setup and
instaling the 40.72's

Well, I downloaded the new 40.72 Detonator Drivers but when
I install it an error pops up. It says it is missing a setup
file named NV4_DISP.INF. Did you get this problem Velmar? It
won't install the new drivers for me. Grrr.....

Thanks for the driver update Velmar...I've been checking for
new ones, but I guess it slipped by me.

Hehe...I know that...I do that already. I meant in the
toolset having an Area Transition Tab where you can just set
it without having to write the code. I want to use your
tileset Velmar in my new module, but I'm gonna wait until
you put in a plain floor tile (no walls) so I can make a
bigger looking tower level. Thanks for the great work.

"I'm curious...I haven't seen anyone do it yet, but is it
possible to make a Placeable with an Area Transition tag to
it? "
How about -> AssignCommand(oPC,JumpToObject(oJumpTarget));

Decclan,
your problems origin will be your drivers.
Many people reported this problem and all had the same
driver : nvidia 30.82.
Get the Detonator 40.72 and up and all will be fine.
I'm working on a GF2 MX and I never encountered this
Problem with my much slower graphics card and I'm testing
on all detail levels.
To the plain tile : strange I never thought of that...
I am planning several new tiles for it, but I never
thought of a simple plain tile :)
Consider it done.

Great Work!...I love your tilesets Velmar. I'm using your
Dungeon one in my sequel to Journey Into Darkness called
"Souls of Time". The tower set looks
great...outside...inside..and placeables. I only have one
gripe though. Could you on the next update add a plain floor
tile..no walls for both tiles you have. I was trying to make
a bigger room with 4 corners and straight walls between each
corner. Then I realized there wasn't just a plain floor tile
to throw in the center...d'oh. Would really help in making
bigger Wizard tower levels.
Also...I expierenced a little slow down...not much with the
Portal placeable. I thought it was the Strange Apparatus at
first. I have a decent system so not sure why it lags when I
face the portals. I did have the portals active.
My system specs are:
1.5 ghz Processor
512 DDR Ram
GeForce 3 Ti Vid Card with 128 DDR ram
Windows ME (I hate it..gonna upgrade to XP soon.)
I hope this information helps you.
I'm curious...I haven't seen anyone do it yet, but is it
possible to make a Placeable with an Area Transition tag to it?

Vel ... you are Superman with your computer and 3d Studio
Max - or what ever you use to concoct your creations. This
Is awsome.

I would just like to say how amazing your work is. I'm
supprised Bioware hasnt hired you yet. Anyway, keep up the
awsome work, I've been waiting for a tower-ish set and such
(or rather my maniacal wizard has been)
