Tired of traveling out in the hot and dry sun? Eyes particularly light sensitive? Enjoy the smell of fresh soil and exposed roots? Then you'll feel right at home in our state of the art tunnel passages. Dug using only the finest slave labor and supported with 100% rotten wood. Better get while the gettin's good.
This is a tileset addon for the rural and rural winter tilesets. It is pretty easy to use and fairly rewarding visually. Feel free to drop comments good or bad as long as its constructive. Thanks.

Couldn't agree more with The Amethyst Dragon - how DID I miss this hak for all this time? Exceptionally useful.

This adds a great dynamic to an area -- allowing players to move through things. The only improvement I'd really like is if you didn't have the obvious evidence of the tunnel passing through on the ground above. It would be even cooler if you could place terrain over the top of it, but understand that's wishful thinking. Basically, a great touch for outdoor terrain.

I can't believe I never noticed these before. Awesome work! _________________________ World of Aenea (Hall of Fame PW and the origin of all my works)

This is one of those lost gems.
There are lots of tilesets add-ons and modifications on the vault, but only a few that actually significantly changes or improves the look and feel of the standard content. This is one of them.
Some clipping and walkmesh issues here and there, but otherwise functional and nicely done. One of my personal favourites now. :) _________________________ [dla][united colors][player's handbook][other submissions]

Dude do you plan to update this hak? there is a lot of good thing people want added to this hak, you shoud listen to them! By the way it is a nice hak... but It eraces all of the new HoTu add-ons t the rural tile set.

The tunnels are excellent. Great work! I have long wanted smaller tunnels, where the walls close in tightly to the player, and the ceiling broods overhead. Perfect. Now, for my tender requests:
I think it would be great to have a tunnel with a rougher, more natural look, i.e. no wood or worked stone.
I understand that travel over the tops of any tunnel is impossible, but I think it would be awesome if the outside of the tunnels could be disguised to look less intrusive. In other words, if you could sculpt grass/trees/boulders to cover the outside parts of the tunnels.
Of course, chambers would be great, as well.
Lastly, if there was some way to place this in the tileset that does not have a minimap, it would make for a great method of getting players lost, which is any DM's joy.
Thanks for the great work here, it is very much appreciated.
