This collection of 75ish placeables consists of a variety of things. Many of these placeables I ripped from the HotU tilesets. Some of these are standard items that I resized for smaller folk. Also there are a few new placeables that I created which you may find of some use. There is also an expanded palette to make things a bit easier for you to organize. The palette is as follows. -Interior Items ---Floor Coverings ---Furniture ---Wall Hangings -Magical / Enchanted Objects -Lights I have also added to this some of the placeables that Bioware created but never gave entries to in the toolset, such as the Mystic forge and Large Invisible Object. I went in and fixed the Drow Bar blocking sight of people behind it. Almost all of these placables uses standard Bioware Textures and will require you to own the HotU and SoU expansions otherwise you will see white objects.
Items in Hak: 15 Tile Sized Floors (3 custom, rest standard bioware patterns) 6 Tables (underdark and inn) 4 Lightpost/Lamps (2 Ambient, 2 non) 3 Urns (2 w/flowers, 1 fancy) 8 Colored Quills & Ink 8 Colored Glowing lights 9 Trinkets (boxes, pyramids, ashtray, barrel) 2 Waterbasins (1 w/water, 1 without) 2 Water filled objects (birdbath, water trough) 2 Piles of Hay (1 walkable, 1 not walkable) 2 Small Bar segments (From Danmar's Bar Placeable) 5 Lilly pad sets and some singles Curved Wall Segment from the Underdark Drinking Mug Facedown Open Book Firepot Giant Keg Hollow Science Tube Inn Fireplace Placemat Small Anvil Transparent Crystal Wall Hanging Sacks --Specific Bioware Stuff - fixed / added-- Fixed Drow Bar Mythallar Mystic Forge Large Invisible Object
Thanks go out to: Danmar for the bar that I shrunk down & to everyone who helped with things like animated textures in the custom content forum (Lisa, Na, Michael Darkangel, Danmar, Velmar, Den of Assassins, Joco and many others) The HAK file consists of utp files and the mdl files. A utp file means that you will not have to import this into the toolset as an erf and set up appearances.

I've been always taking these for granted with CEP. Only now, when I'm not using CEP but a custom hak do I realize the usefulness of compilations such as this one. Thank you. _________________________ Shadows and Silver

... also, ya might want to DDSify that 1MB tga texture in there, tga's are for weiners with 386's, we should all be using DDS-compatible vid cards by now. ;)
Ah! I see now what you mean....sheesh note to self, don't post when you just wake up.
Yeah I could just have the water drop below the ground for off and be in the tub for on. Maybe when I get around to the boxes I'll do that too. It's a cool idea.
Oh one other thing...I was going to chop up the boxes and a few things to animate them but after having ripped and created / fixed these I was just too burned out to do that :)
Doing a box being able to open was not as fast as I thought. You have to cut a face off for a lid, then 2 side it and add edges, then create an inside with textures, link the whole thing, and then animate the lid. All for one box.
I may end up going back and animating some of these anyway but not right away. Not sure how you would turn off the water as its using the animated txi info.
Hmmm all the floors should have a height of z0.01 so they don't clip. When I created them they were ok but I'll recheck just in case an older model slipped into the pack.
As to the texture not sure what to tell you. I'll recheck that mdl also but they are using standard bioware textures and none are included in the hak.
Hey Danmar!
Hmmm I did'nt think about bloodstain conflicts with the floors. I set them to z 0.01 so they floated just a bit above the standard floors.
If a bloodstain or something doesn't show up you can always adjust its height by right clicking on it and selecting adjust position in the pop up menu. Cool trick I read on the forums that I didn't know about.
Heh I ended up having to do my own simple texture, taken from bioware's of course, for the Ink and Quills and I had to kill the alpha channel as it made them look really odd.
If for nothing else this hak gets a download for the ink and pen models. I've been meaning to make one of those for friggin ever and just never got around to it.
And of course a lot of the other things are useful as well. The floor coverings alone should help vary tilesets by a bit. Just out of curiosity what Z did you set them to? +1 will collide with the default floor stains and rugs so I assume a +2?
