An attempt at a more medieval style of city, with mostly wood on the buildings and some mortared stone. Simply extract into your NWN/hak folder and all is well. Includes alleys by ThallionStellani. Enjoy!

Bodangly,
Great work as usual. One question...do you think you could at some point do a retexture of the cobble and make it look like dirt roads etc? And I like one guys idea of a roman/viking/Rohirran type structures, etc.. Thought I would throw it out, since you do some of the best tilesets out there. :) Anyway, great work again.

I think a thatch is a pretty good suggestion, not sure why I didn't think of it. Thanks =)

Always interested in seeing how reskins come out and this came out nicely... one small suggestion is to replace the shingle roof texture with a thatch.
Also, for the historical-minded, wood was relatively expensive so walking into a Medieval city with buildings of all wood would indeed be a sign that rich folk lived here (much more common was the use of wood beams filled in with cheaper rock, clay, and plaster). :)

If you want to solve that go ahead, but it requires opening up almost every tile in the set in a text editor, figuring out whichj piece of the model geometry is the offending part, and changing what texture it's assigned to. Or have no stone. I wanted to fix it, but its soooo not worth it.

Every time i see retexture of CE tileset i see the same error : stone on wood and this is a nonsense, on wood there could be only wood or metal....
PS: i wanna try to do it by miself how can i modify CE tileset textures ?

Excellent work, bo'. Heck of alot more wood than stone used in Medieval construction (for you "historicalists" out there). Perfect for that Northern European look. Otherwise, anything that adds some variation to the city set is a plus.
Now, howzabout an all clay tile roof/white stone set for those Mediterranean-style seaside towns. With a Mediterranean villa or two ... gothic cathedral? ... Roman hillfort ... oo! Use the wood building mottif for a Viking-style greathall ... I'll quite now :) Thanks.
