The xorn has been around, as far as I know, since the first edition of AD&D. My Basic Set books are long gone by now. Although their appearance in the Monster Manual artwork seems to change with each edition, they've always been depicted with three arms, legs, and eyes with a powerful mouth squarely on top of their bodies and a powerful desire to feast on precious metals and gemstones. Loot carrying adventurers beware.
Works with all versions with a little work on your part using DIY folder. Hak and erf are for all exspansions, version 1.62. 'DIY' folder contains the files necessary to build your own hak for other versions of game and/or combine with other haks.
You must have used the new appear and disappear animations. Good to hear you and your players enjoy the model.

May I just say that your Xorn model is a wonderful addition to my campaign! Ambushing players with the same Xorn again and again, having it phase into the rock to flee, was really a lot of fun for both me and the players. Thank you for a much-needed model.

...."Hak and erf work with NWN w/ all exspansions, 1.62"
This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 6 that made this score of 8.00.

Here I am looking for rare elementals to put in my custom Summon Monster script, and what should I find? Very nice.
(Ticks list, then wanders off in search of Salamanders.)

Funny... I had forgotten all about it. You've doomed yourself by reminding me. Now I will be hounding you from here on out... :)

Thanks NIZ, btw I haven't forgotten about the Shrieker script. I'll get to it eventually :)
Dobervich, thanks for your posts over on the CC forum, your feedback helped me out quite a bit while I was working on the texture.

Just finished plying with the xorn... I love it Lathspell. I also like the fact that you seem to make creatures that are rare, or at the very least different. :)

Very nice Lathspell! Give yourself a pat on the back! Looks like you nailed the texture in the end. :)

Thanks for the nice comments folks.
Xaeryth,
Here are the changes you could make in the toolset for an Adult Xorn
7d8+14HD
4d6+3 bite, 1d6+3 claw
Fort+7,Ref+5,Will+5
Str 17 Con 15
Skills at +10, except Spot+14
+5 Concentration and Discipline (substitute for intuit direction)
Power attack and a substitute for multiattack?

This is one of those creatures that need for my Eye of the Beholder conversion that I was figuring I'd have to MacGyver but here it is!! Awesome. Can anyone list the 3rd Ed. stats for this? Or, perhaps, make an erf with a regular Xorn (Xaren) instead of an Elder one? Thanks and Lathspell, great job! Keep it up.
