Clarification:
H H
H H
-S-
The spacing was messed up, showing my initial S off to one side. In your initial setup, put your stream on the flat, on one side, as in standard streams, not off on a corner, as previous post shows incorrectly...

Easy waterfalls, for people just learning this tileset follows.
From the base map, use raise lower to make a raised Quad, like this:
H H
H H
( H as Height Raised.)
Place a stream on the flat, right next to one side.
H H
H H
S
Next, select Stream, place your cursor on the stream you already have, and while dragging mouse, drag it from the flat, to the top of the four Raised areas.
It ends up like this: (F is where the falls are.)
H H
HFH
S
It does work, but took me a little practice and experimentation to get it going.

Greetings, all.
Just wanted to say, I downloaded this a few days ago, after joining the AN forums, and am still amazed at it. These are the mountians I have been looking for, all along.
I most definitely will use this for my upcoming "Land of Etarnon" (Role Play) Server.
Even the edge map pic has been set up to extend the mountains, off the usable area. So much good work here.
I'd like to add vertical cliff faces, a stone archway (walkable underneath, and on top, perhaps...), and a moraine, with glacier, along with a seperate gothic vampire castle, as a group, to this. Hopefully to be finished by this summer.
I'm working on trying to get and old copy of 3DS max 3.0 to make similar mtns stuff, as I learn. Nobody is selling it on ebay. I have v 6.0, from discreet free trial, but it needs a higher OS upgrade to win 2k that I don't have.
Well just wonderful work, guys. Makes the default hills and dirt cliffs pale by comparison.

Ok, I can't reproduce the bug. I really don't know which tile was bugging (one like a dome, the top of a mountain, I guess).
Here is a list of tiles which still contains reference to "bitmap ttr01_grass"
didn't try to know if it was normal :
ANRM01_Y99_01.mdl (the waterfall)
ANRM01_Y98_01.mdl
ANRM01_Y91_01.mdl
ANRM01_t19_01.mdl
ANRM01_s19_01.mdl
ANRM01_r01_02.mdl
ANRM01_q01_02.mdl
ANRM01_AF03_01.mdl
I'll check Monthletia's mod of this tileset to determine if I can save some work to enrich it ; )

The waterfall by Adam Miller is still in, i'm not sure what other waterfall you are refering to?"
Sorry I was wrong,
the waterfall finally appears when draging a stream from the bottom of a mountain ^^
I will search for the strange bi-textured tile I have mentionned. Got to extract all and search for "bitmap grass" in them.
Stay tuned

Is there any chance there will be a minimap sometime? Ofcourse, I could do it myself, but with all the work on my module I doubt I will ever get it done. Oh and by the way - great tileset :o)

On the Watch Tower, when setting up a trans from inside, you can't transition to the balcony area of the watch tower. But jumping to the balcony as a DM, I can transition inside. Just not the other way around. Any suggestions? Couldn't get a waterfall either with your suggestions below.

I meant those castle walls which are very good, dwarves usually like to build walls like that. However there are only few places where you could make people to live, they are mostly just tents or stuff like that. I tried to say that I'd like to use the rocky mountains as cities as well, dwarven ones.
To make this possible you could add few things from the city- and perhaps rural tilesets (for example good castle, perhaps building terrain, a few houses and stuff like that) to make it look a bit like mountain fortress.
Gah can't be that hard can it ;)

Good job. I'm glad somebody was able to keep the mountain hak going. :)

I haven't messed with this stuff in awhile, so where do I place this to install the hak?
Thanks..

thanks guys;)
Smolin,
Correct you are, we'll try to fix that as soon as possible

OMG, this is one of the best tilesets I have ever seen!

Wow. This is looking so good. Excellent addition which I definitely want to use.
One little glitch I saw: Picture a 2x2 grid, and place Rock Hill in upper left and lower right. When you try to put Rock Mound in lower left or upper right, you get Rock Floor and a broken hill.
