****Filename: SS_Omir**** CURRENT VERSION: v2 **** This is the 5th superset to be released. The tileset follows a desert theme and contains almost 2200 tiles and 460 placeable groups. Many features have been added since Netherwind was released, so keep an eye open for new features. Among the new features added are: Airships, a Roman Temple and many Arabian building models. All texturing is 256x256 pixel TGAs. No DDS files are enclosed. You can use any collection of superset tilesets together and never have to edit a 2da.
Model tileset credits: Yumi Chan's water, Mendeku's fortress walls and ravines, Coulisfu's oriental models (castles, buildings and ships), DLA Team's trees, Lord Sullivan's pyramid, Galleons (Shazwoller), Caravels, Longships, Airships (Some_ux), Na (dc_villages marsh and other features), Little Baron's Elven Portal, Adam Miller's & Lucifer Church's Hills, Bloodmonkey's Mountains, Bodangly's arabian city buildings, MG Skaggs arabian buildings, a few Vilance D'Asari desert textures, Gribo's Drawbridge, the Grassmaster/Tom_Banjo Roman Temple, and Daemogorgon's Ruined Castle. If your content is contained within and you don't see your name here, please leave a note.
This was one tough cookie to make. It took almost 5000 new model edits to get the tileset into it's present form since Netherwind was released. Thanks to Vilance for the second time. I only used 4 or 5 textures from his Drylands hak, but they made a major difference in the tileset. Bodangly and MGS models are highlighted in this tileset, though don't expect the texturing to be similar. As always, comments and bug reports are welcome.**** Fixed broken pit stairs ground texture.

i got bad internet access but i just had to vote on this because i use it as a main base in some of my modules. i like the paler sand than bioware's desert and the number of different tiles makes almost anything possible. too cool. great work.

Very beautiful. If you use the others and want a desert this is for you.

Extremely versatile, does things no other set or group of sets comes close to doing. The 'only' set on which one can make a believable looking Arabian/Moorish desert city without extreme discomfort. But it could benefit from some updating.

Horribly over-due, for which I apologize.

I never voted for this! I use it for white sandy beaches, white deserts and underwater terrain all the time. _________________________ Cheers,

Any chance the sand on this set could get retextured to match the Bioware desert and the sand in basically every other tileset that's come out since SoU? This one is more white/yellow and not orange enough, so it clashes with basically everything else.

From Pyramids to Pagodas, from Castles to Temples, from Mud Huts to Towers, there's not really much else, architecturally speaking, that you can stick in a Desert. This HUGE Tileset has it all. There is also the scope for almost every geological and topographical feature required as well, except for the most freakishly strange and twisted things which require a bit of placeable help...
Basically a 'must have' for Desert Adventures. Officially endorsed by Homicidal Gnoll Lunatics.

love these, I can't seem to get the tower doors to show up after opening properties to edit the transition on any of these tiles

Very well done, all-inclusive tileset. Love your supersets Lordrezzon! They're very useful! It's a shame not a lot of people voted on this tileset. _________________________ "Inconceivable!"

Is there a chance anybody could be so kind as to post a very brief description of the six (Aztec Empire, Cobblestone Kingdom, Grondol, Mirador, Netherwind, and Omir) tilesets? Given the rave reviews, I'd like to incorporate some of them into a mod I'm building, but given my limited bandwidth and that of my players, I can't manage to download all of them to give them a look-see.
If these descriptions already exist, I'd settle for a link to them. Lodrezzen's HoF interview indicates Omir is a desert tileset, but that's all of the information I've found.
Many thanks...
