Title  Galleons!
Author  Schazzwozzer
Submitted / Updated  02-17-2003 / 02-24-2003
Category  Tilesets
Expansions  Works on all versions
Description
This hak pak will add two new tilegroups to both the Rural and City Exterior tilesets. The tilegroups are Galleon-style ships and are 5x1 tiles in size. Also included is a Ship's Wheel placeable. This should please all of those who dislike using the small ships already included in the tilesets, as well as provide a place to stage all of those elaborate pirate vs. ninja battle sequences! Also included is a blueprint file for the Ship's Wheel plaecable and a small demo module.

Like the ships as well as the carracks that were also posted. Is there a way to get all of this compiled so I can make either placeables with them or use them as monsters(so they can move)? If this is possible. Can they also carry people? I know alot of people ahve been asking about this. Is there a way you could clarify this. Feel free to email me at the address below.

"This is one of the greatest additions for a tileset that has been released on the vault. We, the CTP Team, think so much of this set that we have included it in our releases. We have taken this, repaired the issues that we could, then added this to tilesets where we thought it would help to expand the usage of that tileset."

For everyone wanting it, this is the simplest script to jump on the ships:

void main()
{
object oPC = GetLastUsedBy();
object oFamiliar = GetAssociate(ASSOCIATE_TYPE_FAMILIAR, oPC);
object oAnimalCompanion = GetAssociate(ASSOCIATE_TYPE_ANIMALCOMPANION, oPC);
object oShip = GetNearestObjectByTag("BoardShip");

AssignCommand(oPC, ActionJumpToObject(oShip));
AssignCommand(oFamiliar, ActionJumpToObject(oShip));
AssignCommand(oAnimalCompanion, ActionJumpToObject(oShip));
}

create 2 signposts, both with tag "BoardShip", on the ship and on the dock.
It won't work if there is another ship too near.

I've only one word do describe all this:
AMAZING.

I'd like to make a request: a docked version (like for the standard ship).... it's sad to have to use teleport to get on them :(
