*** NEW UPDATE *** Version 2.01 *** The Separately available ERF file and updated placeables.2da are now included with the main download. The placeables.2da has been changed to strip out the StrRefs so that the trees now appear in the appearance drop down menu with more meaningful names than 'tree' - makes them easier to find, even if you aren't using the ERF. NOTE: The ERF will only work if you are using the enclosed placeables.2da. As soon as you start moving any tree entries around it will screw up the references. NOTE2: If you have already downloaded the separate ERF/2da file there is no need to re-download the whole HAK, Likewise if you have already downloaded version 2 of the main HAK, just download the separately available ERF/2da the link is in a message below dated 05-05-2003
This is a pack of mainly new trees, but also includes some ground plants and standing stones. Various versions of each tree are provided including Large, Medium & Small sizes, different barks and tree canopies. The set is aimed at providing greater variety to forested areas and allow copses and enchanted groves to be built. This is now (6th May 2003) pretty well in it's final version, only a minor tweak since the last post in April with the addition of an ERF file and the removal of StrRefs. Hope you like it - Happy Tree Hugging :)
There is a problem with the Ivy placeables that means in modules that have already used them, each instance of the ivy will have to be rotated 180 degrees. This was because I had to rotate the 'use arrow' for each so that a pc can use (ie climb) the ivy from the front now.

Thanks for these. I love the vines and make good use of them whenever I can. _________________________ Vault Submissions | Arnheim | Beyond Vives

Martin E - did you die? Your page at i-nation seems to have gone missing?! I was eagerly awaiting your Celtic tileset but was disappointed to find that you're (apparently) MIA. :(

Best trees I've ever seen for NWN. And the best, they are just placeables.
A small thing; it would be better if the placeables get their own group within "Parks & Nature". _________________________ Ever wanted a hotbar for party commands, or a separated Bard bar, or ... ? xUI - Major NWN2 UI Enhancement

Because these are placeables and not a tileset, yes, they work with the canopied forest. They don't have canopies themselves - but that can be a good thing.
Please, PLEASE MARTIN, we want your tileset :(
