This is a creature i modeled from the Phyrexian Negator idea submitted by OmegaAxis. I ve also used some of the 'Alien' characteristics to animate it. It has 40 unique animations, including tail swipes, backflips, combos and other goodness. To use: Unrar the file and place the .hak file into your hak folder. Apply it to a mod. Import the .erf file if you want to quickly check what the creature is capable of (special 1). If you're already using some custom stuff with .2da's, you might need to adjust my '2das accordingly. Basically, if you're not using the 1.62 HotU version of NWN, you ll have to edit the .2da's (the ones that are inside of my hak or your own ones if you've got some custom content already) with notepad/textpad. This model is a bit high in poly-count department (2100 approx) - it shouldn't affect you significantly, but perhaps if it does use fewer of them sitting next to each other.
UPDATE: Added the same model but without the emitters. Its got '1' after its name in the toolset.Again, if you get any problems - let me know.

Simply one of my favorite creature models. Shocking that its not in the hall of fame already. _________________________ Itinerant Admin: RPGModding.com - Where Modders Muster.

Also, I'm very glad you posted a non-emitter version (the emitter version might work for some people, just wasn't my style though). And don't be discouraged by the low voters, they just don't see what we see ;)

For sheer originality amongst NWN monsters, and because of the incredible animations, I can't give less than a 10. Sure, the textures aren't the absolute best, but the model looks really good overall. Also, this could see use in a lot of different settings, from d20 Modern to some kind of demon in an FR world, and I love practicality ;) Keep it up!

Great work. Maby you could make a modle of it in which you could select which emiters you wanted. EX: if you want emiter on elbow select forarm 2, on wrist hand 2, ect. Keep up the good work. _________________________ Time is never on your side.

You should come out with a whole Phyrexian set of creatures. Along with other creatures and things from the Magic The Gathering World.

I would LOVE to see a Phyrexian Collosus and versions of Gix, Memnarch, and Urza. Mishra, not so much lol.
I'm sure Urza could be donw using existing NPC models, but having a Blind Seer or Serra/Shiv garbed version would be outstanding.

Nice my fav card couple years ago when I still played MTG.
Anyway good work!
I gave it a high rating for the following reasons.
Despite it's flaws, I LIKED it.
Instead of making another Monstrous Manual critter (not bashing people who do, by all means make more), you chose something outside of D&D.
I've never seen anything like it in the Neverwinter Nights custom content scene.
The fact that you made your own animations is a big plus. In fact, that's one of the primary attractions to this model. It's a new monster, with it's own forms of attack and movement.
You do a good job and I want to see more of your work.
Right - well, it does upset me a bit the fact that some people choose not to give full reasons for their low scores. I did learn quite a lot from the community and the reasons like some of the below ones did teach me a few things. I am more interested in making things for people who are in need or just appreciate the things that i make.
I try to fullfil the requests and suggestions when i can, but you ve gotta understand that with a project like DLA i don't really get a lot of free time + some of the feedback that i get does put me off from further development of independent content.
What i ve done so far was either for fun or by request - i am, however, making another release some time *hopefully* soon, that i hope the communty will benefit from.
Honestly (and this is not directed at anyone in particular), you ve gotta understand that negative feedback puts a lot of custom content creators off from making any more of it and, ofcourse, from improving their quality, and that does not only go for freelancers but also for teams, who's content you have undoubtfuly enjoyed.
I'm no expert- but your textures are a bit flat looking, you mention a problem with them yuorself... wouldn't just adding some toughness help (add "noise" in photoshop or somesuch...?

I gave it a 5, which was maybe a tad on the harsh side. That being said, original ideas are something that should be rewarded. Doing that in 5 days is no small feat.

*sighs* When will people start giving honest votes/comments?
/rethorical question.
The critter is far from perfect. Model is juuuuust about ok (5-6). Textures suck (3-4). Animations i like but just becuase i think they are unorthodox, in-your-face and original (8-9). If i voted for this creature i d given it 6-7. I would ve also patted myself on the back, since its pretty good for 5 days of work.
Suggestions+citique helps me to improve not only this model but overall quality of my work.
Please post responsibly.
Sorry to keep you all waiting for an update - its going to be delayed for a few more days (a week at most), but i ll make sure to add a *treat* as well. I am currently going over it in detail to see whats it lacking, so if you have any suggestions as to how to improve it (apart from already mentioned stuff - i ll definetely work on that)i could even include several versions of it, including reskins, reshapes and a few sets of animations (i ve animated this creature twice so it wont be a problem). So, if you have any suggestions just post them here:)
I am also working on another demonic/undead creature (a mix between Anakon from Hellsing and Baraka from Mortal Combat2)which is going to have unique animations and all in all will be much better than the Phyrexian family...

For the update, I think a wider combat stance would be good. As it is, I love the huge leaping dodge and the death animation. I find very little wrong with this. Great job!

Awesome beast!
Easily the best community-produced creature I've downloaded. I'll have nighmares now. ;)

You are very talented, my friend. It's an amazing work, for sure. :) Any plans on other monsters? If I could suggest, I'd love to see an Alien :D
