This the Issig Flintlock version 2.0 for SoU by Daemon Blackrazor as inspired by Wulfrider, Jupp and Aulslime This is a non replacing exotic item that uses Jupp's flintlock model with a few minor re-texturings By Daemon Blackrazor. Also included is a new non-replacing lead bullet item as ammo for the flintlock with accompanying icon by BioWare. Added some new effects and added sounds. Have fun! This will work for HOTU, but there should be modifications to add this to your Mods, see the README The firing scripts were created by Wulfrider originally as Dual Ammo Muskets Issig website; Link
If you havn't seen this musket model yet you may want to take a look. Its very well made if you ask me, though I dunno if it would look right using the "on activate item" thingy as the fire animation.
Just a thought, cheers! _________________________ "Three may keep a secrete, if two of them are dead." Pirate Saying

I really agree with Mojo. A matchlock would be a fine addition to the nwn world.

They require a exotic prof. The bad stref is due to the Issig.tlk file not loaded for the description - it's not needed for the example. Give it another try - you can also re-edit the baseitems.2da to not require the prof, if you want. _________________________ "I'll sit myself behind this clock, and sing tunes on its belfry!

Great hak! Seriously! I would probably give it a 10, if I could get it to work...
The problem is, that when I load the demo-mod, I can't use the flintlocks (they turn red when, as if I don't have the nesessary feats) and when i choose "Examine" on them, all it says is "Bad Strref".
I've tried it with several different characters, so it's not lack of feats, that's for sure. And I've replaced the original 2da's with the ones included in the rar-file.
What am I missing?

Hello, I was wondering when the CEP Compliant version of this hak will be released. I saw in earlier posts that there was a beta for your PW that you intended to upload soon. I would really love to use your hak in a mod I am helping create. Thank you for the time and effort you put into this. _________________________ Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is Liberty.

Excellent work that adds these weapons *without* overriding existing ones. Great work. _________________________ Link a Ravenloft persistent world

Kantis - Hey there yerself ;) Thanks for the compliments - I haven't heard from the CEP in a while, I don't think they would be interested in this hak, personally, but hey you never know.
Macross - Thanks!
TroiElend - I'm not sure I am following you, why don't you send me an e-mail ([email protected]) with some details of what you are trying to accomplish; maybe I can help.
In the mean-time everyone - I have created a new version; it will be HotU and CEP compliant - new animations, including a loading animation - there is a beta of it in my Core hak - but the new version will be uploaded soon.

Um, I'm a bit confused. It says to locate the first line in the amunitiontypes.2da file, but I can't find that file. Dows it still exist in HOTU? Also, where to all the TGAs and other files located int he contents folder go--or do they go anywhere?
Thanks for your help. I've got a module in mind I want to use this with, and I'd love to get it workig.

Hey there. Have you heard anything from the people at the CEP concerning this? You have no idea how much I'd love to see it implemented into the next CEP update :)

No, since much of it is scripting. - but I will be releasing a new version that I think many worlds will take another look at. _________________________ "I'll sit myself behind this clock, and sing tunes on its belfry!

This is a great addition, well done. I was wondering if it's possible to work this with the override folder so it's playable in all modules?

Kristi,I originally intended to include the musket riffles, but the models were quirky and unstable. If I can come accross some good models - it would be a snap! _________________________ "I'll sit myself behind this clock, and sing tunes on its belfry!

Any chance you will be doing something more than pistols Daemon_Blackrazor I have a real need for a Flintlock Musket. The pistols are nice but only officers in any flintlock using army carried pistols all the grunts so to speak carried the 9 to 12lb monsters.

Also - forgot to mention; when I update Issig flintlocks, I may add other types as well, depending on the response. _________________________ "I'll sit myself behind this clock, and sing tunes on its belfry!
