The Bebilith is oneof the most terrifying monsters any self respecting adventurer can face. It's chitinous hide is covered in sharp barbs and it's terrible strength is capable of tearing off even plate armour. Behind this fearsome exterior is a malevolent intelligence that spend's it's time walking the Abyssal plane torturing demons themselves... luckily, they're rarely seen on the prime material plane... RARELY...

I still admire this model. I know some made reference to the BioWare model present in HotU but that model actually looks more like the 3e Retriever while this actually looks like the 3e Bebilith.
Mecheon: Me too ;p - this model was made like 2 years before Bioware made one.

Personally, I like it better than Bioware's one

This is an absolutely beaut model, too bad the HotU one kinda dwarfs it. _________________________ The Power Almighty rests in this Lone Ring.

wow thanks, thats big enough. i just wanted to try this monster but i have no textures on it any idea where i can start to search for what is wrong?
Posted by Ryuujin ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2003-12-10 10:43:00
There ya go, it's now about twice as big as it was before and Huge class as manual says...
Happy hunting... or, running away which is more advisable really.

Sorry, had this big long "to do" list of stuff relating to models and overlooked this guy.

Any update on the size of this lil creature? (heh)
Posted by Ryuujin ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2003-11-21 08:55:00
Oops, thanks for pointing that out 'Huge Outsider', they're only 'Large' in that pack... I'd better go rescale that to add to the 'Oh c**p' factor ^_^
Posted by Huehand ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2003-11-17 11:09:00
This is grand work. Probably as close to the concept in the Monster Manual as you can get, and great textures. One thing I would say though is the size of it. Its described as a 'Huge Outsider', and its current size doesn't give that "Oh c**p were finished!" feeling, maybe a dose from the scaling tool and there will be much running and screaming... but not if there stuck in its web... or paralysed..... ok forget the running.
Oh, and it looks better than the BioWare one, no offence to the creator of that BTW.
Posted by Ryuujin ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2003-11-17 03:07:00
Yeah I realised Bioware had already done a Bebilith after I'd begun, but I'd started so I figured I might as well finish it. Bioare's probably do look better, but they also have access to a far greater range of tools and materials than the rest of the editting community such as motion capture software and more vetern modellers/skinners, they also get to edit the engine to suit their needs (See robes for example)

Yeah but this look good and for some mods the variety in model will be nice.

Its cool and all, but with the release of HotU we won't need this, and I am sorry to say, Bioware's looks better.
