This is a HakPak that contains six high polygon count benches, but more will be added in the future. These benches are very detailed for placeables, as you can see from the picture. You can preview the benches in the included test module...just to see what your really getting. The included placeables.2da has been correctly padded so that it will not interfere with CEP or any expansions. Please note that I know that these are more detailed than placeables really should be. This started as an experiment to see how many poly's could be used in an object before NWN started to choke. The only noticable effect that I could see is an increase in load time for the module. If you find something else, please post it in the comments area for the download because I would like to know what effects high polygon count placeables have on the game. Thanks and I hope you like the benches. :D
It appears that the 'Mix of appearance types and dialog.tlk' stems from the CEP placeable.2da that I padded for my own use. This same problem appears with the CEP hak paks also, so it is not limited to just mine. Please note that I have not updated my version of CEP, so this may have been fixed it the latest version. I guess I should download the update and see if it IS fixed. :D _________________________ Never interrupt an enemy while he is making a mistake.

Thanks Maximus, I put a fair amount of time into these even though they really are too high a poly count to use in a large module. A small module would probably benefit from these more, but I have yet to use them in a module other than the demo.
I also noticed the 'mix of appearance types and dialog.tlk info' and I have yet to really look into that. I will be looking into it now though. The models are listed as 'ParkBench1-6' but are hard to find because of the error that you mentioned. Again I will be looking into that immediately. _________________________ Never interrupt an enemy while he is making a mistake.

Just another quick note. When I imported the hak into my existing module which didn't have any haks, and then chose "edit copy" on an existing bench, the appearance drop down looked like it had a mix of appearance types and dialog.tlk info. Some choices were the usual appearance and others where dialog lines which were unuseable.
Also I couldn't find the benches. Using your module was perfect and allowed me to continue. Also the high chrome and statue benches are very cool. :)
I may not have time to return so if you need more info, please contact me via email.[email protected]

These models do not 'greatly slow' the game down. The only noticable difference is an increased load time which is around seven to ten seconds longer. As far as what would be out of place in NWN, many of these benches WOULD be seen in a mediavel setting. _________________________ Never interrupt an enemy while he is making a mistake.
