| Finally, an update... i'm not completely satisfied yet, hence Beta, but i might as well get some feedback and bug reports... to make sure i'm in the right direction... New in HotU Beta version Updated for SoU and HotU, meaning that it now requires those to function properly. Updated the scripts to make use of new features. Updated the skin and some animations too. Note that the appearence in the toolse is now called z_Beholder, to avoid conflicts with biowares. Use: Run the custom content self-installer. To include the hak into a module, open the desired module with the toolset, click the 'Edit' menu and select 'Module Properties'. On the new window appearing (wich is called 'Module Properties'), click the 'Custom Content' tab, and add the 'beholderinabox' and 'beholderinabox2da' to your module. Now, when it has verified the HAK, open the 'File' menu and select Import, and open the BeholdInABox.erf. It should be in the 'erf' folder of NWN... The beholder should now appear under the custom creature list in the 'Paint Creatures' window ... you can find it in 'Monsters' -> 'Miscellaneous' ... place the creature, and save the module when done... About: Together the 3 files form rules and rays that the beholder uses, as well as custom portrait, beholder model and textures, and an entry in the custom creatures list. If you find a bug or want to implement the contents to other major hakpaks, plz write on this topic...: http://nwn.bioware.com/forums/viewtopic.html?topic=307100&forum=48 Thanks to: Tony DiTerlizzi for inspiration and portrait, Maximus at NWVault, Matthew Lewis from ACCAD, Wayland Reid for the NWN mdl import/export for Gmax, ScooterPB for the 3dSmax import/export, Adope for Photoshop, Discreet software for making GMAX and 3dStudioMAX, Jasc Software for making PSP and ofcurse Bioware for making NWN.
