Title  Male Heads
Author  Mr. Dave
Submitted / Updated  06-18-2004 / 06-25-2004
Category  PC Parts
Expansions  Works on all versions
Description
This hakpak contains three male heads for the human thin phenotype. They are one normal human head, one head with regular horns, and one head with large horns. The horns use a mix of tattoo1 and hair color. The eyes are tattoo 2.

There is a speck of tattoo1 in the hair due to it being required by the horns. While this isn't really noticable, I figured I'd point it out just in case it was mistaken for an accident. Enjoy :)

UPDATE: Added two more heads with horn variants. Please see the large preview pic. One has larger, more natural looking horns (if horns on a human can be natural), and the other has two sets of horns for a more demonic look. Thanks go to Inhuman One and Son of Neil for the suggestions :)

I always use this head on the servers I play on if it's available! The best masculine attractive male head available!

Maybe someone can help me. I've downloaded the file, placed everything in the right directories...but the heads don't show up. Please understand that I am completely nOobish at this sort of thing. I've read the readme and still don't quite understand what I have to do to edit these heads into the game. Help please :)

Posted by Mr_Dave at 2004-11-15 03:43:00
Yes, it is compatible with the CEP. It is also one of the heads in my updated CEP Companion 1.5 hak.
I try to make sure none of my heads conflict. Since I have had so many requests over the past few months though, I have pretty much run out of head model numbers.

YAY!! You're my hero now Dave, I will have to make you a few undead for this :D"Light travels faster than sound, that's why some people appear bright until you hear them speak"

Huzzah. ;) Can't wait to check them out. Tails too? Oh, how fun! Are any of those head model you're working on familar or will they be from scratch? "Back in the box, ye wild 2da little beasties!"

LOL! You don't have to beg, I already have a few youthful male heads in the works, based on some of the regulars on the Weathersong forums, who's ages average 17...
I would have had them done already, except I volunteered for making a custom head, and I decided to make a variety of tails which will color coordinate with a variety of skin tones. The tails will be up in a while...."Me Go Beer!" - Mr. Dave

Hmmm. Shall we both look at him with big anime eyes? I don't know...like I said, whined and pouted enough... *big moon eyes...lower lip trembles*"Back in the box, ye wild 2da little beasties!"

Yes! More long haired guys! I for one don't mind a little clipping if I can finally play chars with decent long hair :p This one is a good start though :) Hmm...and some younger looking heads are needed too. It feels wrong to set out with a lvl 1 char who looks like he's in his mid 30's. And the default age on the char making screen says 18, so why did they make all these mature looking male heads? Shouldn't they have included a couple of young lads too? *looks pleadingly at Dave*"Light travels faster than sound, that's why some people appear bright until you hear them speak"

Posted by SilverLady at 2004-07-01 13:12:00
I agree. Whoever had the bright idea of chopping the pointed ears on the newer male elven heads and "humanizing" them gets big kudos and a wet smooch from me. ;) >sigh< If only their hair was longer.... (and no Mr. Dave, that isn't a hint. I've begged and whined enough. :D ) "Back in the box, ye wild 2da little beasties!"

Lol, well we *do* need some pretty male heads, most of the ones in the game are butt ugly :p"Light travels faster than sound, that's why some people appear bright until you hear them speak"

Yeah, I make a lot of stuff. Just do a search on Mr. Dave and you can find most of what I have left.
I had a ton of things, but my override folder mysteriously vanished one day, successfully erasing from existance many, many items I made and forgot to back up. DOH!
And no, it wasn't from patching the game. ;)

I don't really like doing the tattooed stuff, or even the horns for that matter. I just add the 'non human' things like horns because I know many people appreciate them.

As far as Oriental content goes, I edited a few of the existing pieces like helmets with dynamic skull menpos, and I made a handful of Oriental heads, which should be in my CEP Companion hakpak.

And yes, the renaming tutorial does work on any .mdl and .plt set out. :D"Me Go Beer!" - Mr. Dave

thanks for the info, I personly use haks instead of override, does this renaming also work on clothing? since my different clothing haks override a few things. the heads look great, keep up the good work, I am looking forward to see more heads. Maybe you could also add a version without the beard? I personly am no good with any editor for armors and faces and such, but I do have lots of ideas, maybe something you can use?

War tatoos, tatoos that are for frightening opponents, like a skullshaped tatoo over the face, or a fully tatooed head

a facial mask sort of like sub-zero

a face that uses both tatoo colors for the eyes, to make real inhumanly eyes.

bald head with a long tail, maybe a chinese like mustace and beard with it

bald head with a beard like the heads of this hakpack.

Real large horns for on top of the head, think horned reaper from dungeonkeeper style.

multible horns, I mean like 3 in a row on each side of the head, differing a bit in size.

I dont know if you also make other things than heads but I hope to gave some ideas you can use.

GOOD JOB!

Inhuman one, the heads are:
pmh0_head146
pmh0_head147
pmh0_head148
I tried to number them high enough to make sure they didn't conflict with anything out there, as I too have tons of content I use. I keep it all in my override folder due to my distain of hakpaks.
There is a detailed tutorial on how to rename the heads in the ReadMe file.

Son of Neil, LOL!!!!!!
I almost did that with the Jana heads..."Me Go Beer!" - Mr. Dave

what numbers are they? I use a lot of haks for a modified version of the original campaign, just for myself, it takes a long time to add it in and check everything in it, so I like to know if it doesnt override some other heads.
