this is a modification of arduain's grasslands hak to make it a non-replacing tileset. 95% of my work on this was simply renaming files and editing the .set and .itp files, so if you like my take on it, great, but please also give credit to the orginal author. other changes made include removing some features, groups, etc. that looked out of place in head-high grass. see the readme file for more details.
hmmm... it should work. i've not tested this tileset with sou or hotu, but i did similar work for the ctp with both expansions installed and everything worked fine. have you checked your in-game settings? tall grass is a visual effect rendered in-game with a video option; it will not display in the toolset, or in-game if your video display options are not set to full grass.
if you're still having problems, post here again or better yet, send me a pm on either the bioware or ctp websites with more information and i'll try to help you out.

first off, sorry for the delayed response; i've been off-line for a while (semester break and all that).
as for the hak... it's been a while since i played around with this one last (plus, i'm not at my own pc right at the moment, so i'm going from memory). i believe the original grasslands hak modified the bioware rural (ttr01) set file in order to turn it into a grasslands area with tall grass. this meant any rural/grasslands area you made in a mod using the original grasslands hak would have tall grass.
my hak created a new tileset (tgl01, i think), called grasslands in the toolset menu, and left the original bioware rural tileset alone. so you could have grasslands areas with really tall grass and rural areas with normal grass.
to get this effect, use this grasslands hak; do not use the original grasslands hak. use the "grasslands" tileset to create areas with tall grass; use the bioware rural tileset to create areas with normal grass. as far as i know, multiple grass heights in the same area are impossible (however, using this hak you can have multiple grass heights within the same module, something the original grasslands hak did not allow).
if you have further problems, message me over at the bio boards; i check-in there more frequently than i do here.

When this hak is placed in the folder and then in the mod... are we supposed to get another choice in the tilesets for an area?
I still have one grass choice and when I load the mod ALL of my grasslands are tall grass. I don't want them all to be this tall, just some of them.
Do I need the original Grassland hak with your hak prioritized above it?
