WARNING ADULT CONTENT! This is an add-on for gnome�s torture hak. 2DAs are for HOTU 1.61. His original: (40 + NEW placeables in 4 groups. Tortured people staked out and hanging, food placeables (as per a request on the idea boards), taxidermy (deer heads, bearskin rug, skins etc), and a few for fun (vulture, headcutters axe, bushfern). Some are animated so read the readme if the animations don't show.)

A feature requests...
Animations for the stocked, the two different whipping post victims would be great!!
As it is, if you've a dungeon with the various torture victimes side by side, the non-animated ones looks like they've been paralyzed or something.
It's not so much that you did a bad job with those, but rather that you did such a GREAT JOB with the animated ones... :D

I just want to say that there's a little problem with the files MDL plc_ph_floora20n, plc_ph_floora21 et plc_ph_floora21n.
Those files are not working (I've got the following message for those files : "access violation at adress 0076F3EF in module 'nwntoolset.exe'. Read of address 00000080")

I think I just came up with an idea that could potentially make your job a whole lot easier.. and your hak a whole lot smaller. Make prisoners without the torture equipment they're attatched to.. and then include an empty version of the torture equipment? That way, each model is smaller, and they can be aligned appropriately however people want (like the stocks victims could be arranged so they're bent over, gripping bars, and looking through the bars of a jail cell?) This of course wouldn't work with a few of the models, like the "rack" models.. but could be used dynamicly with the "standing" "floor" and "stocks" models, cutting the size of repetitive models down by a /lot/.
It says you made animations, I'm still looking for them.

Yeah, actually.. The CEP includes a crucified person with animation.. might be a lot easier for you to copy that one Phalzyr.. the body parts are easy enough to swap I imagine.. ALSO.. could you include an /empty/ version? =)

Here, I wanted to use your hak for my MOD. Unfortunately, I never saw in the editor the whole of the resources.
Here my config play nwn + SoU + hotu in 1.62
The file hak put in the repertory hak PhalzyrTorture.hak and PhalzytitureB. hak (Hotu extension)
I tested the whole of the maps and never I found the plaçable (neither in section standar, nor in personalized)
I like this hak and I really want to use it in my second mod, but... I've got CEP and around 7 other haks in it already, it's getting quite heavy. Would it be possible to have just a few of the torture stuff. Like one hanging, one tied up on floor an so on... for both genders and
without the taxidermy?

Everyone: first off I'm not gone just don't check this thread often and wasn't planning (and not sure if this will change) on releasing another version so didn't answer questions¡K Sorry for such long post hope it doesn't run together making it hard to read¡K If I do release another version I'll include an off site download for the pheno types I mention below, split into basic(includes only nwn clothing options and my nude hak body parts), and a extended version that includes SOME of lisa's, darkman's gear.
Ichyro: Cross? Do you know of any haks that include a good one or does nwn include one? I suck at making stuff "anew"¡K.
Ebonheart: I have race haks out for a couple types of the torture equipment that allow customizability, changing to phenotype soon so files are smaller. Not coming out? Hmm.. well if I do release a new version I will certainly test it very thoroughly this time round because it will be my last release if I do¡K
Marco Polo: IF I realease another version it'll include a hood over one and an empty model for each. Whipping Post¡K. I threw something together for this If I decide to toss the big torso as a phenol type (to get two more torture types in) and make that a race again¡K I'll add that as a phenotype.
???: I doubt very much if I'll add a sway in breeze animation to the hak though I might to phenotype since it is just one file that would be large (in order to do it justice rather than a constant swing over and over¡K I'd have to make a long animation)

Everyone: :D I am not totally gone just hardly check that thread any more. I've been getting back into NWN a little lately. I changed all my Race haks to phenotypes instead, because it saved having to have the head's plt files. Wish we could have more phenotypes. I added female dwarf and halfing to those phenotypes, thinking of doing male next. I also now have pillar, rack, and ??? As a phenotype. Then removed some mdls from the torture pack since with these they are useless. I also been playing with custom animation wish they get out the patch that allows more than 2 soon :(. Do you know if a lot of people are using the phenotype option? I'm not really sure if I'm going to release another version or not yet... I am also after dloading the astral deava nude hak someone had decided to redo that (not really much doing in it's case) and was working on making some other creatures that seem to beg for it¡K only did deava so far but¡K if you want to get ahold of me email me at [email protected] ¡K.
If you don't want to here about more adult oriented animations that I donedon't read below¡K.
I made an animation for: Female custom 1: get on floor on hands and knees 2: bend over¡K for male 1: um get on knees behind and um¡K. 2: same as 1 but standing. :D not much in way of alter temp or such but without more custom anim options I doubt that'll happen. I tested them and it looked pretty good just have to make sure the guy walked to woman then he face her and the she face away from him before firing animations¡K. I did also make some placeable that offer a similar theme one with a long animation (that I might break into default, custom1, custom2 ¡K. Three dif positions). I was thinking of making a Race for these (since I'm planning on having one umm encounter for each toture type that I made a phenotype¡K.) allowing the head of both male/female in it to be change via naming the male's heads as her right foot¡K that is what I was doing now so hope it works.

sorry but i just spent quite a bit of time in iraq so im new to all this hakpack stuff. im not sure which version i have so how would i go about figuring that out and then how would i install this hak. it really sounds cool so id like to take a look. do i use the large hak and then one in the folder and where do i put the .2da cause nothing i do seems to work. please help.

Okay. Sense it officially seems that Phalzyr is not coming back.. I've an idea. I've been screwing around with 3D Studio Max.. and have realized a few nifty things: Animations can carry a person off the ground.. (such as Whirlwind attack) and an animation loop can *hold* someone off the ground.. I'm currently working on a way to use the "struggle" animation of these placeable prisoners for a "hung" animation useable by modulers to litterally hang a PC in the air. =P Also, I heard a rumor.. about placeables with walkmeshes.. like.. walkable alters (one could climb ontop of?) I'm investigating this.. I'm still very new with the 3DS Max.. but.. walkable placeables or not, I know the animation thing'ah is 100% doable.

I know what that's like Phalzyr.. So.. instead of all these animation thingies: Here's one that you could probobly do very easily. ^ . ^ Could you make *empty* bondage pieces? Such as the hung thing.. stakes without people tied to them (with the bindings limp on the poles)... Because the NWNs game comes with several empty devices.. but.. I think some of yours would be great to have as empty useable items. I've got an animations person working on some Custom Animations (CUSTOM_ANIMATION_1, and CUSTOM_ANIMATION_2).. So it could be pretty nifty with a few of these. =P I plan on putting *players* in them.. hehehe.

Kage, simply place a Placeable object down and change it's Appearance and anythign else you want...
others: I'm not sure how much time if any I'll have to work on this for quite some time.. real life got pretty busy of late, but if I get a chance I'll look into implementing your suggestions.

how do you get the placeables to work in toolset with out an erf file
I think it all rock and you should do more animations they make it feel alot more real my only complian is the stand the don't look like they are standing in the are with there arms held out. Just a though great stuff though.

:) thanks all, I'll add the other 3 race types/genders to the pillar model since you like it. Though I've been super busy of late with reall life work so not sure when I can get to it. I like the wind suggestion, and was actually thinking of that when doing the models but knew this week was going to be hecktic so thought I'd just get it out there. Whipping post? I could use the pillar just turn victims around make them standing and "Hug" pillar as you metnioned with the damage animation. I wonder if I can add a scar/whip marks/blood texture for their backs for those without shirts...

Great work! The torture pack is a valuable resource for anyone who needs to include a dark dungeon in their modules. Personally, I don't have that much use for the nude models, but the "clothed" ones are just what I looked for!
Do you plan to make the pillar models for elves, too? (If possible, don't make them standing - it looks good the way they are!). Another small suggestion would be to add a small animation to make the hung people slowly swing in the wind (that would add some realism to the model).

Kristi: Sorry for confusion. I did change name, so that people would realize that gnomad's stuff was included, it is still same hak. I also got rid of 0 in version number because it... well... It just looked wierd the way the vault puts everything up and all. If John allows me to grab his TB stuff I'll use it, or I could just make my own using his as reference if he doesn't say anything by the time I get around to it. Was going to spend the weekend on adding anims/content but my wife's son spent the weekend and I wasn't on computer much..
