Hiero's Journey!! That was an awesome book. That and the sequel(s?). Sorry, off topic post, I had forgotten those books...

They remind me of the Brotherhood of the Unclean from "Hiero's Journey"... a forgotten book... post-apocalyptic psychic cultists they were, who planned to replace humanity with mutants on orders of something sinister called the Unclean. Pale as death, with shaved heads and all sorts of old techs - lightning cannons, telepathy suppressors. As soon as I saw the Blackrose, I thought: that's them alright.

Hey. I really like the look of these. Too bad I only came across them now, with HoTU on my machine. I'd love to see an update.

It is a pleasure to finally see proper Dark Elves. I applaud you, friend.

The female Blackrose Elf is in the necromancer pack, for those that want it. These are really cool, I know I use them way too often. :D

I love these! My only gripe is that they look anorexic, but maybe that's what you intended. :D I could have sworn I saw a female version of your black rose elf though. Anyone point me to it? Great job. :)

Hey Amolin, perhaps you could help me with that a little?
because I added to the pallet, I get it to the Local Vault, but since it doesn't have a portrait, it doesn't work!
So then I added a portrait, and then NWN ecounters an error whenever it loads up...
could you help possibly?

Those are *very* scary looking in the screenshot. Look
like a Geiger painting or something similar. And I agree
with other posters here they have a great sort of
hightech/fantasy/horror look about them that is quite
unique. More scary creatures like this would be great.

I am going to try to put together a set with a mini-module
included, complete with stats and descriptions/history.

Evil...
It would be nice with a little info on stats, classes,
skills, background story and stuff like that. Looks really
cool!

Great work.

Great work!
btw those guys remind me of some movie where people get
butchered and torchured....it wasnt hanibal...it was worse.
hmm I cant remember...but the murderers kidnapped their
victim and then tortured them...cut funny pictures on their
body and stuff, really grose movie....which is good :)

Everyone, thanks for the kind words. I am glad all of you
liked them as it makes working on the rest of the stuff I
have in mind worthwhile. Also great to hear feedback as it
takes me in new directions. Answers, in order received:
Kardor, I never really liked "Drow". Particularly was
bored by the forgotten realms version.
Boromir, the waist bothers me a bit too. I'll touch it up
a bit - and a female version would be cool. Goblinoids may
be on the way...
Lord Lightbane, they actually do hail from a techno-
fantasy world. Sort of Victorian meets Hellraiser. A
serial number indeed - the necromancers found it so
helpful in cataloging their undead that they carried it on
to their still living subjects...yes, I think I'll exapand
it into a full pack...
Anonamous, I do have reskinned/remodeled races I am
working on but they will take some time. I actually
started with elves (cause I really don't like the existing
ones), but I've only got a handful of heads done so far.
The Hand, I love Brom!! IMHO, he is the best artist
working in the role-playing industry. No particular work
inspired them though.
