This is Squall's Gunblade from Final Fantasy 8. The file also includes a hak with a remodeled version of one of the head's made by LonewolfNA to make it look more like Squall, and i made it a Human head instead of an Elf.
The Gunblade is a bastard sword, #1 Color 3. The head is human male #24.

Great, just GREAT!
But,do you think about making the more legendary "Lion Heart" Gunblade?

True that Squall does hold it in both hands, but the length of the handle contributes to that. In addition, his stance was a fairly basic kenjutsu that anyone effectively trained with a katana would use. Some other european swords might be used the same way, but they wouldn't be very ideal for it.
Beyond that, using two hands increases the power and control someone ha over the blade, which makes for the design of most swords to be able to be held with two hands. While the Gunblade would be possible to swing with one hand, it's built to support two. It's also built to fire on contact with the enemy, but that's going beyond things a little bit.

how do you place the GunBlade on the module after importing the haks
As Winter_Legacy said, try setting the gunblade to a greatsword base instead of a bastard sword..
As I recall Squall's stance in FF8 required him to hold it in both hands...
But i've tried this and I still find it to be pretty darned awesome... just needs to be longer...___________________________________________________________

It's a great hak but what did you use for his armour?
It would realy help if you could tell me which hak I need to get his jacket and etc.
Just a few suggestions:
For the Gunblade, try lengthening the blade (greatsword base, maybe?).
For the gun arm, are you using a crossbow for the base? It should be easy to set it up to rotate once or twice without shifting position. Of course, I could be wrong; I'm no expert at modelling.
Keep up the good work, and I hope to see more!____________________________________

it doesnt seem that people care all that much but aside from the gunblade and buster sword i had already made i now have Rinoa's blaster edge,Yuffie's shuriken, and Barret's gunarm, the animations mess with it quite a bit though so its only for a basic appearance of the gun arm (meaning when you attack it moves off place)the others are fine though, except that with the blaster edge and the shuriken i dont know of any type of throwing weapon the returns or can be given unlimited ammunition, so they both have a ranged shuriken form and a melee kama form. And the blaster edge looksreally cool ;)

i'll probably make all of the final fantasy 7 weapons too.
that'll be cool making Barret's gun arm.

oh yeah, anyone know how to get the base model of a whip? i need it to make Quistis' weapon,Theres no way im going to try to recreate all of the animations ;P
Seriously though, it's a nice version of the gunblade. If I liked Squall, I'd download it. :)Cherish always the memory of the fallen. Link

after youve either loaded the haks into a module, load the module and create a character in it to use the head in that module, or place the extracted contents of the haks in your override directory and you can use them in any module. The head is selected the same as any other, and the weapon has to be made in the toolset, but if the sword is in your override you can carry the sword between modules (after picking it up in the module you placed it in).
Can i use these hak paks to changes the apperance of my PCs? If yes then how do I use the hakpaks.

Thats strange, the haks been here for this long and not a single person has said something negative or started some psychotic rambling about how this is anime or final fantasy. I guess they've given up ;)

Heh, i forgot to say that thats how to add haks to a module.
Posted by Shadow Dragyn ( 63.153.xxx.xxx ) at 2004-09-05 13:10:00
put the haks in the hak directory, open then module in the toolset, go to edit module properties, custom content, add the haks, and go to ok.
I'm thinking of removing the clothes hak, its not real importent and if i remove it it'll lower the file size by more than 3mb, anyone think this is a good idea?
