DLA Elven Chain Compleat by the DLA Team. Yes, at long last. After being harassed mercilessly here on NWVault, after posts to the Custom Content Forum begging others to do it, and after renlentless pestering on our own DLA forums by several determined community members - we present the long overdue DLA Elven Chain Compleat.
The hak includes our Elven Chainmail Robes based on Todd Lockwoods design in the 3.5 DMG, now for all races and genders. (Exception there is no fat human pheno for Elven chain and there wont ever be one. Its svelte vogue elven wear for your fashionable PC and NPCs, not for Fatbeards.)
THE HAK IS BOTH CEP AND CODI ROBE COMPATIBLE. Just make sure the hak is in priority to both the Codi Robes and the CEP and it will work happily with both. Plug n Play. Off you go. Nuff said. Also included in the arhchive is a special version of our Elven Chain hak which contains a *bonus* variant of the wondrous chainmail for lovers of short bards who sing off key, together with a short demo mod. Model & Geometry: Thrikreen. Textures: NexusJnr and Lisa

A good as all CODI 'productions'. Or maybe better yet?

Fine piece of work! My dwarves also thank you! At least when they finally do steal that elven chain they can modify it to fit them. :) _________________________ Cheers,

An exceptional creation for which I, too, never voted. Thank you, DLA team for this and your many other contributions.

I can't believe I never voted for this!
Fantastic work, this deserves the top note I gave it.

thank you for doing this. I know that it was a long time ago, but with NWN2 taking so much horse power, I am stuck with NWN for a while. _________________________ Beyond words lie deeds, beyond deeds lie Heroes - Baldewyne ap Radnor
i'm sure everyone appreciates a more lfexible version than just for "perfect skinny females with huge boobs and butt and pencil thin waist, and perfect faces with bedroom eyes and pouty lips that say f-me baby." types that are over done. not enough focus is on males and not to mention mostly ugly, so we ladies get nothing, and now thanks to you, we do (although grudginly done still i'd have said since everyone is being a jerk about it i won't.) so thanks for all of us who do care.

This Elven chain is smashing! I play in a PW that uses it for the Elven elite, never have I seen such wonderful armour. Thank you!

However, this will not work with the latest CEP patch 150. Why they didn't include this is beyond me. In fact many of their decisions regarding content are questionable.
Anyway, they have used robe #112 for one of their robe models and this will overwrite it unless you take the time to change these models to another # and modify their latest parts_robe.2da, which also includes many other robes not found in the parts_robe.2da included with this hak.
Thanks for all your hard work!www.thefold.org

Sorry, took sometime to actually use this in a game. It is unsurprisingly EXCELLENT! Looking forward to future DLA content soon!

I removed the ModernHak, but it still did not display the Elven Chain on males. The only other haks applied (all below it) are the CEP, CODI's robes, AN's Elven Heads, and the Elven City. Even if I remove all of these, the males are chainless.
However, if I start a fresh, empty module, then apply it, it displays perfectly.
Odd. A past hak (I have been through many) must have somehow left something behind.

Hmm. I am attempting to use this with v1.64, both expansions, the CEP, and the ModernHak. It is in priority to everything, at the very top of the list. It only seems to appear on females. Could something interfere with it despite it being of highest priority?
Right guys and gals,
Here's one for you....
I've tried combining this hak with cep150 (with and without MoreHauberks.hak) and every time one of the robe slots gets turned into a nice shiny chrome robot!
I tried renumbering the dla files to something other than 112, and ended up with a shiny robot rather than elven chain.
I also tried pasting elven chain into line 112 in parts_robe.2da and sending the previous owner of this line (with all relevant body parts renumbered) to other lines such as 109 and 199, but although doing this gave me the elven chain, it also turned Balders' nice studded leather hauberk into (you guessed it) a shiny chrome robot.
I'm not a complete goon, and I've been very careful when combining/renumbering the relevant 2da files and body parts, but I just can't figure this one out...
Has anybody got any idea as to what I've obviously been doing wrong, or had something like this also happen?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
And, yes, I have read and digested the
