Description
Tired of the same buildings? Do you want something different with that unmistakable medieval gothic feeling? This hak contains a bunch of medieval buildings and walls to create cities like the ones of the Old Europe. These are placeables, so you can manage them free of the tiles limitations using them in city situations as well as on the top of a mountain. This placeables will also be used in the italian PW REAMI PERDUTI (www.reamiperduti.it) together with other graphic innovations.

y'know...

even though these objects are abit outdated (texture wise) this is still THE best stuff around, i still use these and still use them for the true gothic inspiration it derived from...

I'm sorry, but I don't understand ... the link you posted PC_Maniac to the tileset ... it does not seem to contain these. Am I missing something?

Wish I could speak Italian, but best I can do is bellissimo! Unlike many others, I am very pleased that you made placeables instead of a tileset. Walk-meshes, etc may be a problem for some, but I've had no problems ans there are base tilesets galore to use for your buildings. Again, bellissimo!

Gorgeous! Gives a really different feel to the standard city exterior tileset. :o)

Wow..nice work. I would have really loved to use these but since they don't work with CEP I'll have to pass :( bummer.

Posted by Anonymous ( 66.251.xxx.xxx ) at 2005-11-30 12:34:05
If somebody could make this CEP compliant, that would be amazing. It's a fine hak but suffers from not being able to be used in conjunction with the CEP placeables.

Your files are corrupt - Files plc_gothic01-13 have "dire_cat" as the super, it should read "null". I download it three times and it was the same each time. I've fitted the problem on my end. So just a heads up.

Great work... Everyone should use it in every mod.

Veramente splendido... ma ti prego di dirmi: c'è la possibilità che vedremo il tuo hakpack come tileset? Costruire una città con i placeables... =/

dang it I whis i would have saw this when I built my mod Gothic City. One reason I would have used this haks in it. The other reason is becuse i wouldn't have used the name Gothic City. Anyhow great work!

is there any plans to make this hak compatible with the cep? when I use all the cep placables disapear.

Veramente un lavoro bellissimo!!
Una domanda: è compatibile con il CEP 1.50?
Ho provato ad usarlo, funziona ma si perdono alcuni placeable del CEP.

Really a good job indeed!!!
Question: is it compatible with CEP 1.50?
I tried to use it, it works but some of the placeables from CEP are lost.

I looked through the files for REAMI PERDUTI and I am simply awe inspired. I think I scared my poor cat. I have never wanted to make tilesets before and now I do! My deepest gratitude to you and whoever else was involved in creating such masterpieces. :D

Bloody shame I'm not multilingual. :P Warm Regards,

Un bellissimo lavoro! I modelli sono veramente bello, e sono in mio opinione uno rappresentazione realistica di costruzione medievale. Fanno l'atmosfera in un modulo molto migliore!

I guess I'll continue in English, my Italian is too rusty! As I said, beautiful hakpack. The only thing
I would change are the stained-glass windows on the cathedral building: I would make them a tad narrower. But the hakpack is still amazing! Great work!

I love these placeables. Nice work!

This is really impressive work!

I agree that it should be in its own Gothic City tileset,
not added to the City Exterior or left just as placeables
(all with the same name). ;)

I'm really looking forward to using this!

Great!

I was looking for that for a long time (for my "bastard" serie)...A bit late for the episodes yet released, but I certainly will use it for next ones!...

Thank you!

Great job! I don't know about the others but I was able to work wonder with this tiles in placeable format. Please keep making more. (In both Placeable and tileset format.)

Posted by Kelebalf at 2004-10-15 07:55:00
Thanks to everybody for the positive feedback I received for my little work.

It seems that the consensus is about making these models as a tileset.

Don't worry, it will be in a future but there was several reason why they're placeables right now.

The choiche was between making just some additions to the existing city tileset or creating a full new city tileset.

My idea is to accomplish the second option, but it'll take a lot of time and in the meanwhile I didn't want these models to sleep on my hard disk.

So have fun with them, transform them as tiles as you please or be patient for the full tileset that I'll prepare in the future.

Thanks again.

These are indeed fantastic models, but again I agree with the others, as tiles they would be far more use.

Nice work none the less.

Beautiful buildings, i was disappointed they are placeables. They may cause some serious "chugging" in frame rate if too many are placed in one area. Tile these bad boys up!! Then you'll have a really awesome tileset!!
