Overwrite file. UPDATED June 26: Add CEP compatible hak, took out 2da update just use the plan download for the latest version. Updated Nov 22: Updated to 1.5 cep and 1.64 patch, fixed tranparancy on T-Rex. Just move cep dinosaurs above all others. Inport erf and update all instances and you should be good to go.

DINOSAURS!
OK, maybe they're not the most palaeontologically correct Dinosaurs ever seen, but they're still Dinosaurs useable in NWN and that's worth 10 any day...

Yep, sorry for the lack of feedback and releases, but I got into playing NWN2 :) and messing with it some. I'm releasing a house rules system soon then it the dinos center stage :)

So Shadow, still working on these?
My prehistorically inclined side is interested to see if they're still in development

For teh sw0rm
Hmm, in the random of asking, you could edit Nexorcist's monster thing, the one that looks like a Copper dragon. That given a shell, small head and a club tail would make a pretty good Ankylosaur in my opinion

Good-looking, but I have a request.
It's not technically a dinosaur, but since is lizard-y... er, reptillian, could someone make a model of the Zergling from Starcraft. I know there have to be people who'd like a vicious, pack-hunting lizard.

Rar files are just like zip files, they like packages with holding other files. You need Winrar program to open them, do a search on the vault or net and you find it. Inside you find a .mod file which is module put that in module folder you find a Hak file put that in your hak folder and erf which is a import of stats. of the creatures that I used for the dinos, but you can change the stats. to what ever you like. :)

Yes I like it alot. The thing I change on it though are feet and leg proportion are off and no teeth I like the texture. The hump is a debatable thought that T-rex head is too heavy to just move on one pivot point and that it really need to be connect along the spine for support. In my picture my leg feet proportions are off some too but I think I fixed that already. I took a break on the T-rex and will coming back to it shortly and your model will be a inspiration, the hump might go it might stay along with other possible skins :) thanks.
The textures are very good, but the models need work. The legs are all wrong for the raptors and the T-rex--they had bird-like legs. Also, their mouths need to animate instead of hanging open.
the triceratops doesn't look as good as the other two, but has better animations. He needs a better texture and his frill is off. Tricertops' frills did not reach below the jaw line.
Overall, these are a good start, but need a few tweaks to be better. _________________________ Link a Ravenloft persistent world

I know about many things with the dinosaurs. I want to do a whole remodeling of them and texturing and add more, but RL work has really slowed my NWN time to a crawl and sorry to all for this. I will try to open up some time to get back to my nwn Custom content that I love when I can. There a whole list of things that you want to do CC. Here a good list.
nwnexplorer(exporter of NWN content out of the game)
Biowares TGA to DDS program(program to convert skin, picture files to better game skins)
Velmar and Jan Schmidt dds2tga program(program to convert them back edit the highest res one).
a TGA paint program there tons out there.(to edit tga)
Gmax and NWmax (free modeling program, NWmax addon to work with NWN models. Great tools and support by DLA team).
Get all turtorials on the vault and other places you can find. Check out custom content forum on bioware web page for questions or DLA forum.

I don't have any idea how to modle creatures. can you tell me what kind of tools or software i need?
Posted by Ghost in the Machine ( 68.59.xxx.xxx ) at 2005-01-16 16:58:00
the head on your t-rex looks great but the arms need to be shorter with only two claws. the legs need to be longer and larger. the spine needs to be more straight along with the tail, both in line together.
i'm glad to see someone out there is trying to make dinosaurs for NWN though. BioWare made a mistake by not incuding them.

Sorry about that, I have both exspansions. I going to update them with text of stats so I do not have to have mutiple version installed and you all can just make your creature and put in the stats as close as you want :). I would of already but I just got back my laptop back from it drivers being updated.

You must be trying to put it in with CEP 1.5 which I have not updated it to yet. Sorry, that what I was going to do this weekend but when my waterbed popped and almost flooded my room it kinda slowed my process on updating all my stuff. I will have this hak and my other haks updated to work with 1.5 this week. Maybe even this weekend.
Posted by Blackraptor ( 67.68.xxx.xxx ) at 2004-11-05 13:37:00
Hm. I tried importing this to my CEP module, but it wouldn't show up. When I tried importing the erf file from the folder into my module, it said Expansion 1 and Expansion 2 are required....Any way I can get this working?

The screenshots look really good.
All I see is a hak file, no erf or module in the download.
