The first 2da removes all requirements from prestige classes. Enjoy using a weapon master at level 2! Characters using this 2da will not have any problems with an illegal character. The main point of this 2da is mainly for singleplayer to add a little bit of 'choice' to the game. Playing the game with a Bard/Monk/Dwarven Defender will be quite interesting. The second 2da allows your character to take epic feats before level 1, such as taking epic toughness at character creation. Simply place the 2das into your override directory [default location: C:\NeverwinterNights\NWN\override] and it will work. *UPDATE* There are no level restrictions on prestige classes now. It is now possible to make a level 1 fighter/39 weapon master. I have also placed the 2das in a .hak for those custom servers. Feel free to use these 2das in your server, or even edit them. I would however appreciate that you give me credit for them. *2ND UPDATE* The No Restriction 2das will now work with the Player Resource Consortium (PRC). Instructions follow in the readme.txt.

Update. Discovered that while it worked while rebuilding my character in between modules, I can't actually level my prestige class (AA) in module I am playing (Aielund). :-(

Thanks. Archery is so awful in NWN that I shouldn't have to burn an arcane class just to get some improved archery. Now I can be a human archer without the arcane nonsense.
I dropped the feats.2da as it is a bit over the top. I just wanted a class unlock for archers...

i've just added the new 1.67 patch and readded the no restrictions 2dahak back to it. it works but now all the new prestige classes that were added to the new patch are missing from the list when you go to level-up. once i switch the 2das back around the new classes show back up but you can only pick certain ones then. so i hope you can update the old 2dahak to work with the new 1.67 patch. your old 2dahak was great!!!! thanks
I've tried and tried to be able to take a prestige class at level 1, but so far no luck. :( I've been way ahead of you on that one for a long time. Frankly, I don't think it's possible. But I'll try... again. :)

'Tis rather strange that's happened, but I think it's possible that the PrC Pack has updated, which means I'll need to update my edited prc_2das.hak. Or it could be the new 1.67 patch. How does the PRC 2da hak work? I already have PRC installed but when I drag the PRC 2da hak into my hak folder, it tells me it can't do it because there is already a file there... so i deleted the old PRC 2da hak file and replaced it with this one, but now my PRC modules won't work... every time i try to load them i get "neverwinter nights has encountered a serious error and needs to close..." etc etc etc

a new version, eh? i don't know anything about haks and 2das and such, but it would be cool to be able to choose a prestige class at character creation. Also, I have noticed that if you take an epic feat at character creation, it doesn not give you the benefits (Great Dexterity I does NOT increase your dexterity by +1 at character creation...) otherwise, this is great

This is great. Opens up a whole new realm of character creation, and gives one nearly unlimited permutations and combinations of classes to comprise a comprehensive character... in short, i love it :-)

This is amazing, very nice....This helps me with a couple of my charactors who were either taken in at a very young age by someone who was a prestige class and tuaght them everything they knew about their trade, or it was a family tradition and from birth were taught these things. Thank you very much I love it! :)

It seems to be working fine for me in singleplayer. In multiplayer it will not work, as well it will make your character 'illegal.' But since the new patch, it does not matter whether or not your character is illegal or legal in singleplayer. If you are playing singleplayer, make sure the module you are playing does not use custom haks that include an edited version of the classes.2da and/or feat.2da (like the PrC pack). _________________________ "Smoking. Damn'it... this hack looks so useful, but it won't work! I've the italian latest-updated version of the game with the 2 expansions but extracting those files into the override folder does NOTHING. My fighter is at level 5 but it may take new levels only in the base classes. There are no other 2dA files in the folder excpet the ones in the "no restricitons" patch. Any clue, please?
