Evenin...
Just wondering if there are any plans to update these for HotU, because they'd be useful in a mod I'm planning...
I take it they are not currently compatible with HotU?
Thx, MT

Disreguard my last post i got it figured out thanks for the cool hak

Great hak, Brother! Definitely really useful: we're including it in an upcoming mod for sure. One minor problem: seems there's no PWK file for the basic (non-wrecked) Cog model. Not too big a deal since they shouldn't really be on land, but I thought it was odd. Also, any chance of slapping together a dinghy? Although I guess it would always look flooded...

aaaaah yes supremo work, once again! i am attracted to ships. Oh, I got an idea!
You know how some HAKs contain placeables you can walk on? (stage, bed, etc) well... what if you made a placable of the unwrecked ship on the water, and make a script so you cna get sent out on the ship, and then you can use scripts you move the placable around! there may be bumpage problems but... think of it! we could finally have a working boat you can steer and attack from!

Nice work, my team is planning to use this in a mod. Quick question though, before we spend time on it - are you planning to update this for SoU compatibility?
Cheers,

Well, if you don't like the texture you could always try
the weathered version and see if that strikes you any
better.
And if those are too synthetic for you - you could use my
skin as a template and create one you like better.
I spent a lot of time looking at replica images of the cog
and I thought I did a good job of replicating the wood,
there are about seven layers of grain, grime, shading,
texture, and chips / defects / scratches. But too each
his own I guess. :)

Again, very cool stuff. However, I have one issue with
these placeables: I do not really like your wood texture.
I don't have any better ones, but somehow I feel the
placeables have a synthetic look to them.
Still this is the kind of thing that I was really
disappointed Bioware didn't include - you and some of the
other custom content people make it near impossible to
stick to a "no hakpack" policy. I know I will break down
as soon as auto-dl of hakpacks is available in nwn... :)

Look for my other "Weathered Shipwreck" hackpack (search
Hakpaks for "Shipwreck" and check titles carefully - one
says weathered the other says unweathered).

Just some suggestions if you decide to do a 'weathered
look' retexture. Barnicles, Algea, Rust and Oxidation, Rot
and Wormholes as well as other crusties would be visually
interesting.

It couldn't have been more than a couple of days ago that
I thought to myself "Hey, wouldn't it be nice if there
were some shipwreck placeables? I could sure use them in
the mod I'm thinking about making...". I'm more than
happy to see that it's already done, and though I am
currently only in the process of the download it looks
like you did some rally nice work. Not only that but the
size is convenient! Bravo, Brother Roth. Keep up the
good work.
