Monodrones are barely intelligent modrons that make up most of the population of Regulus. They are unable to speak or read, but they can understand commands spoken in the modron tongue. They accept orders only from duodrones and exist only for their work.
There is no I, there is only we. There is no me, there is only us. Theres no such thing as individuality, and if there were, itd be stamped out.

Really fantastic work--stunning and adorable. It's a shame that the tlk file complicates importation into a hak a little bit. But that's a nwn problem--I'd much rather have the terrific sounds than no .tlk file. -B _________________________ My NWN Blog FRW Character Creator

According to the 3E modron supplement, monodrones normally have two arms and two legs; only one of twelve have wings. There are a couple reasons I produced the winged type. For one, every single drawing or piece of art I've seen of these guys depicts the winged ones, I suspect because they look more distinct that way. More importantly though, giving him arms would have meant some substantial animation implications, requiring several new animations for each weapon type he could equip.
If these guys were tasked with manual labor though... well, I suppose they'd have to use their mouths. They're incapable of speech, so it's not like they're using it for much else.
There are different versions of Monodrons. Some have arms some have little wings. The one we have here could be out of the Great Modron March. Since the Modron March only happens to gather knowledge from around the planes to feed the collective mind of the Modron (controlled by the Primus) with new input those little buggers do not need more than eyes and legs. And the wings are there enhance their ability to gather informations. Those monodrones working on Mechanus probably have arms since there they have another task to fullfill than on the Great March. _________________________ It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a Grue.
Excelent model, as always. CODI kicks serious arse with modeling.
One question: How the heck does this critter do work in Mechanus? It lacks arms. I know this doesn't have anything to do with CODI's model, but I was wondering if this is explained in a book somewhere.

This is a very excellent creature. Being a big Planescape fan I can't let this one go without giving it my vote!

My apologies then, Schazzwozzer.
I thought this was an updated version of the one used in Demon. Never the less it looks excellent! Nice work! :)

It's good to see you're alive... I'm looking forward to seeing your module.
In the version of Demon I downloaded, this monodrone was not used, but another one, not by CODI, that has been available on the Vault for a long time. Adam may have updated the hak since then, but as best as I know, this is the first time that you guys have had access to this little guy.

I remember seeing this creature in Adam Miller's Demon module.
I liked playing around with it, making it march to specific spots and what not.
You've done a great job on this one, CODI. Let's hope the rest is equally great! :)

I just wanna note that, as of right now, the large screenshot of the Monodrone (not the thumbnail) is a very outdated shot and does not quite reflect the model and texture itself.
I'm going to see if I can get it quickly replaced.
