Title  Improved Gentle Hill w/Road for DOA+CCS
Author  Zeon
Submitted / Updated  01-04-2005 / 06-26-2005
Category  Tilesets
Expansions  NWN-1.61
Description
*Required :
NWN 1.61 or Newer,
DOA City/Rural Builder Base 2.1,
Stilgar's City/Castle Construction Set V0.367.
*This is not merged hak but merge DOA and CCS. Sources of 2 Hakpacks are not included.

This hakpack works as follows :
- Merge DOA & CCS(Please order hacks from up to down on the toolset, this Add-on - CCS - DOA)
- Add Improved Gentle Hill w/Road (Created by me)
- Add Water raised stone-bridge I (Created by me)
- Add Water raised stone-bridge II (Created by Stilgar)
- Add LOK Xp1 & XP2(by Danmar)
- Add edges for Field terrain of DOA (DOA Ploughed Fields)
- Add Pine/oak tree tiles into Grass terrain
- Add 34 tiles of Trees terrain for using at edge of raised hill (Created by me)

Last update :
June/27/2005(Korean time)
Update for CCS V0.367.

Credit : I modify/reference tiles of WayledHill/ThallHill included in DOA 2.1. Thanks to their developers.
And I used tiles of Elmer's PureHakRural as source. Specially thanks to Elmer.
I did not change name of original tiles for compatibility.
LOK XP1 & XP2 for DOA 2.1 by Danmar.

'Improved Gentle Hill w/Road' and 'Water raised stone-bridge' were made for my combo tileset hakpack - 'Improved NoCobble CRF based on DOA', originally.
But all tiles of CCS are not included in my combo and some peoples want that my hakpack include full CCS.
This hakpack is made for them.

Merged tileset by this hak is different with my combo 'Improved NoCobble CRF based on DOA' as follows :
- Original source files of 2 haks are not included in this hak.
- Original sources included in my combo are bug fixed/modified/improved by me.
- Cobble is removed from My combo.
- My combo hak doesn't include all objects of CCS.
- My combo include more Walls that created by me.
- My combo hak include Caravels V4(by Some_ux's) and Carracks(by Some_ux & batinthehat)

This hakpack is made for CCS as secondary version of my work. If you have a mind to vote, don't here please.

I really like your work! I do have a request:
- Could you update the CCS to V0.478
- Please add the ships (Airships, Galleons, Longships, Carracks, and Caravels).

Thanks,
KirbyEF

Zeon, what's your e-mail? I can't contact you via the one on your web page.

Thanks Zeon :)
Your work with PureHakRural's tiles is fine, I'm happy too see that this hard work was not lost...
Elmer.

You should make direct links to the haks required, to make it more easier to add them.

First I understood only two haks were needed, but on further reading I realized there are lots of haks to be added. You could perhaps slightly make it more user friendly with direct links to everything?

The order of these "Add" files is not discussed... but I suppose they just go under this file and above CCS and DOA.

Great idea and hak I must say, but the txt/instructions in web could be made a bit more user friendly, if possible?

Hi Zeon !
Just wanted to say : ALL OF YOU WORKS ARE GREAT !
And you mentoined about making a mountain and forest tileset in the comments. Yes , please make those !!! They are very needed!
Since all major tileset aritists don't do anything anymore, you are the only one who can make NWN outlands look better !
Good luck to you.

This is the first time I have posted here since the whole new outlook of the site, so I just want to make this a quick test just to try and make sure it gets posted before I make an official post.

Hi Zeon. Stilgar updated again... any need to update your hak?

Posted by Zeon at 2005-03-31 11:06:00
@HR. Puff-n-Stuff :

this hakpack is for tileset, placeables are not included.
and CEP is for placeables.
no conflict. ^^

Zeon,

Is this tileset compatible with CEP?

Thankyou Zeon for all your amazing work AND followups.

Posted by Zeon at 2005-02-02 02:28:00
DM Frayne :

Probably...
About 60~70 tiles required for adding Water and water stream, bridge with CCS's cobble into city of CCS.
Only stream for rised cobble, about 20~26 tiles are necessary.

Posted by DM Frayne ( 82.69.xxx.xxx ) at 2005-02-01 13:38:00
Zeon... would it be possible for you to implement water at the base of Stilgar's elevated terrain? How many tiles would it take?

I am continually impressed by the attention to detail on this hak and it's continued support by the creator. Very cool work!

Posted by Zeon at 2005-01-31 21:29:00
DM Frayne :

Yes, not necessary.
Stilgar updated CCS for rebuild current models without model added.
1 model added for water bridge with imperior road, but imperior road is not included in this hakpack.

Voted ;)

Zeon it says above that you updated today (as has Stilgar) but your file is the same as the one on the 23rd. Is this because no change is necessary?

Posted by Frayne at 2005-01-31 11:42:10    Voted 10.00 on 01/31/05
Zeon is doing great keeping these tilesets merged and up to date. Top marks.
