Stone Monkey made this wonderful Hak with hatching dragon eggs. I did not have anything to do with the models or scripts. I just felt that the colors on the chromatic eggs were too intense and unnatural, and the metallic eggs did not really resemble the metals they represented. {I am kind of focused on metal colors, because I'm a jeweler. :-) Also, the white egg texture had a noticeable seam. So, I made a new white egg texture based on the green one, and adjusted the colors to be more 'realistic', if dragon eggs can ever be so. :-) Yes, the metallic ones are now a bit harder to tell apart until you get to where you recognize the patterns, but how many people do you know who can tell Brass from Bronze at a glance in a cave? I re-compressed the file at a higher level of quality- don't worry, everything's there, it just took a bit longer at my end, and saved you about two-thirds of the download time. :-)
I updated this with my Bioware nickname so people can recognize me more easily. So, don't worry that someone named Firefairy is stealing Quinn's stuff. :-)
I have SOU 1.30, and this Hak worked fine for me without any changes, but as the original is only listed as 1.29, I left it at that, since I didn't make any structural changes. I didn't change the size of the things at all- I haven't figured out Gmax yet, but textures are Design, which is my major. :-) I had the feeling that the old textures were from the dragons themselves, and I thought of just making a new mottled texture in each color, but I didn't dislike these enough to want to make entirely new textures. :-)

yeah they are real good actually, i just hope they arent to big (remember its a wyrmling that needs to come out of it not a Great Wyrm or something :\)
i will download it later though i really like this texture alot more than the old one, the old one was actually just the dragon textures used on an oval object, (maybe modified abit with opacity, second colour and etc)
anyway great hakpack and i will be sure to pick it up later...
