This is an extension of Lady Blood's LOTR weapons pack. I made two more colors for each weapon, and an entirely new texture for Sting. Ever want to have an evil-looking version of Hadhafang? Or a good-guy version of the Witchking's Blade? Here you go. :-) The blue version of Sting's blade is an extra- you have to choose one of the others to replace with it. Darn the three-color limit! Included is an Erf with the first (original) colors for each weapon, named right but no extra goodies.
Version 1.1 UPDATE: Thanks to Seryn, this pack now includes incredibly accurate icons for all the weapons. Huzzah for Seryn! Except for the scimitars, they are compatible with the default icons. I'm not sure if there is an icon for the glowing Sting blade. (I'm tired and I just finished reinstalling everything and it's momma on my computer, so I didn't check.) All the internal filenames are the same, so you can replace the old hak with this one with no conflicts as long as you didn't customize it. If you did, just rename these icons to whatever you named the other set and drop them into your custom hak.
I'm changing my old Haks to match my Bioware username, so people will be able to find me more easily. Quinn and Firefairy are the same person (me :-). On most of these, I'm changing the Author name, but on this one, that would have involved changing the name of the Hak, so I'm just adding my other name.

Although this compilation is now included in the CEP, I'm pleased to find it available in an isolated format for override inclined individuals such as myself.
This set is now part fo the CEP, so if you already have that, you don't need these. I would appreciate votes, though. :-)

PS. I thought it was a sword too until I played LoTR The Two Towers for PS2

Khai is talking about the naginata weapons with the scimitar looking head that the elven soldiers were using at the beginning of the first LoTR

I don't think so... I redid the skins on these, but I don't have a modelling program I can get much use out of. I'm also not rememberign the sword you're talking about- Who used it?

Quinn,
Is there any chance that you could create that double handed elven sword used in the second and first movies?
Great work so far!
Thanks!

Soopaman:
I checked, and it doesn't work even with an icon. Not sure what's up. Let me know if you can make it work with this particular hak, and I'll add it to the download.
Velexia:
Not sure why changing the numbers would mess up the model, but I suspect you are missing a reference somewhere. Have you tried looking at the other swords and seeing if you can make them work properly? You might also be mixing up one color with another. Does it work when you only do the original colors?
As to changing the textures, the files you are looking for are the DDS files in the hak. These are TGA files that have been specially encrypted in a form that has several sizes of the same file.
I use Ulead PhotoImpact to edit the TGA files, but it takes some care to keep the extra layer intact, because the version I have sees them as selections, not actual information. Apparently most people around here use PhotoShop.
Once you have the TGA files, or if you need to get them out of the originals, there are a couple of utilities on the Vault you can use to switch back and forth between TGA and DDS. Be careful, one of the programs flips the images vertically, but I forget which one. Read the docs carefully. On some models it doesn't matter, but it can leave you with ugly edges if you're not careful.
Good luck!

Hey, nice work on the swords... but I seriously need your help if you can... I am trying to change the Witchking style sword from slot 6 to slot 8.. and it works except the handle... the handle makes the hilt and blade disappear when selected.. do you know how I can avoid this? and also.. what program do you use to edit the colors of the weapons.. which files.. and how can I get it? If you could help that would be awesome, just email me.

Quinn, the only reason I can think of it not working would be that you didn't have an inventory icon for it.

You can thank Seryn for the icons.

I got some better item icons for this pack, but my internet at home is on the fritz, so it might be a few days before I upload an update. If you can wait a day or two, I recommend doing so- I _will_ have it up this weekend, although I don't know how fast it will show up once I hadit over to the tender mercies of the file system. :-)

Please vote if you like the textures- a good rating is one of the best ways for people to find out this is here.

Great Stuff!
I really like the evil version of Hadhafang...with vorpal proc's it looks hella mean.
Great job. Kudos to Morrowind for the daedric skins

Nice work, as this makes Lady Blood's creations eligible for addition into the CEP hak pak.

Problems- Are you patched up to the most recent version of NWN? I have SOU, but I didn't think that would matter for custom content that doesn't use 2da files. Other than that, I suggest trying them as the only Hak in a brand-new test module. Let me know if either tip helps.
Soopaman- I tried adding the 4th color on Sting, and it didn't work. Only showed the first three. So, I pulled the model and left the texture in as an extra. Any idea why it wouldn't have worked?
Cheers. :-)

Hey there,
You can go past the 3 color limit just to let you know. You can go to 4. That's it. Just thought I would share :p
Peace,

Maybe I'm toolset Illiterate (a definite possibility) but only two of the swords turned out... Glamdring and Narsil and the others just look like bags... am I doing something wrong?

Quinn;
Great job! Lady Blood's weapons are some of my favorites, and your expansion of the additional colors is great.
Also, I am working with Eligio Sacateca on the Community Expansion Pack (CEP), and we are going to try to do the icons for your hak. I'll let you know if I have any luck.
