Adventure Gear Volume 1, version 5_ 1.68
Requires NWN/SoU/HotU 1.68 & CEP 1.53 Using the CEP1.53 Patch for 1.68 by Barry_1066 (bless his heart) to replace the original cep patch 1.53
Found here:
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Hakpaks.Detail&id=6937
This will make Adventure Gear compatible with both NWN1.68 and CEP 1.53
Just trying to keep everything working as smoothly as possible during all of these updates! Please let me know if you discover any issues.
This hak allows PC's the ability to add backpacks and such to your exsisting armor/clothing in game. Two types are available; 'Robe-based' items and 'VFX' (visual effects) items. VFX items are backpacks only. Three identical packs, but the bedroll is oriented differently to provide more variety. Robe-based items include a backpack that is identical to the vfx one's, another that has a quiver, bow and torch strapped to it, a scrollbag on a shoulder strap with small pack, a 3 pc. cape and one that makes your character appear to be carrying an unconscious human female.
Both methods are easy to use, as demonstrated in the Demo module. Also included are several new styles of clothing and armor. This version includes many corrections and changes with textures and inventory icons, however... I will be doing much more to it in the near future. I have not been able to completely playtest everything, so please let me know if you find anything out-of-place... I will do the same on my end as well :)
This time around, the demo module is really small and simple. It is only meant as a demo for the system. I will be releasing further 'starter' modules for use with some of the popular systems separately in the future.
Now that this has gone HoF (wow... hardly believe it!) I am planning to expand upon my abilities within this system, and make it better. I have also added a special bonus character (Me as a level 3 fighter) for you to try.
Thank you for all of your support and kindness over the years!
Enjoy!
I know you've been working w/ the CEP team on incorporating C.R.A.P. et al in CEP v2.2... any chance that Adventure Gear is either going into CEP v2.2 -or- there's an update to AG coming? _________________________ -------------------------------------------

Very good work !! I gave a nine because this is beautifull original idea. I did not give 10 because some textures looks weird sometimes. _________________________ Les Chroniques d'Arcanos Link

Well, using this sort of thing in your override folder is actually not recommended, and therefore those of us who make it don't do it that way. Override works ok for testing, but I still make test haks instead.
However, that doesn't mean that it doesn't work.
If you want to put this (or any other hak) into your override folder, the process is quite simple, yet I still have to refer you to my above comment:
Open the hak with your NWNhak utility (it's in you 'utils' folder in NWN)
Select everything in the hak and right-click
Choose 'Export' and direct it to your override folder... it's that simple!
If you are doing this to get its use into 'locked' module (like the premiun modules, etc.,) it still won't work unless the module doesn't strip your inventory on the way in.
I am still somewhat against doing this... especially since you can only benifit from it in modules that actually use the system anyways... but good luck to you!

CEP team are truly some very nice people.
For me not to update to work with their system would be a crime. After all... I use CEP all the time! During all this time, since my last release/update, I have mostly been using bits and pieces of this and that to help whoever I've been playing with get what they want in the game. This is probably the biggest reason I've not done a CEP2 update yet. 1.69 is the other, major issue. Rather than twiddling my thumbs any more, I will begin working on this right away.
Additionally, Thank you for requesting an update and thank you all for all of the kind and supportive words. I love you all!

I never came back and voted (shame on me), so here is a 10 for a hak that truly sets the mood! I do have one question, though. Which one should I use now? This one, or your AG 1.68 Cloak Packs? I have all the expansions, updated to 1.68, and both CEPs fully updated. Great work Rosie!

I should let you know that for some reason, this stuff goes all wonky on my character and looks like weird growths sprouting from my character. is there another file I need to make this work correctly, or is it just because I have CEP 2?

This stuff is really great... gave my sp mod a great look (I think). Thanks!

One thing I should probably make clear:
The bonus "Rosietreats" character uses a custom head to work specifically with the custom clothing and armor that she comes with. She usually adventures with a full backpack with bow and quiver, so her adventuring attire has that modelled right onto her custom clothing, rather than using the AG system for adding or removing. The normal AG didn't work that well with her long, flowing hair... that's why I made those pieces separate.
She can still make full use of the scrollbag and caryy wounded female AG. But the other packs get lost amongst her hair.
Also, she is not all uber'd out, other than her +1 weapons.
Just thought I'd point that out since she doesn't make the best candidate for actually testing out the AG system. She is simply the model that I use for my own personal gaming experience... since she does look a lot like me :)
AG was actually made to work with standard NWN/CEP made characters.
I am VERY busy this time of year, so I still haven't had the time to properly test everything. Let me know if you experience anything strange. I do already know that it currently DOES NOT work with the ACP animation hak, as that will require some pheno work. Once I get a chance to play around with ACP, I'll see if I can update for that as well.
Cheers all, hope you enjoy it.

I thought that this was a very good comp, but of course, my knowledge of haks, erfs etc is as limited as hell. I dont suppose someone can tell me where to find a tutorial or somethin, or better yet, teach me how to make them
