HOW TO USE: Put classes.2da in the override folder (NOT recommended) or add the hakpak to your module. Put dialog.tlk in the \NeverwinterNights\NWN folder, IT WON'T WORK if you put it in the tlk folder and select it from the Custom Content tab in the toolset. I haven't found a way around this on my own. real_dialog.tlk is the backup of the unmodified dialog tlk table. WARNING: You may have problems in multiplayer games if you use the override; the tlk file only has additional lines and SHOULD be safe. E-mail any problems to [email protected] Also I didn't add plural tlk references, sorry. WHAT THIS DOES: Changes class names and Hit Dice for changed classes to 15. Barbarian > Soldier Fighter > Police Officer Cleric > Doctor Paladin > Field Medic Bard > Performer Monk > Martial Artist Rogue > Covert Op / Hacker Ranger > Sniper Prestige Classes, Druid, Sorceror and Wizard disabled.
This is inteded for my server (currently named 'Happy Zombies- Hell Unleashed' under Social) but if you find use for it elsewhere that's great :) Feel free to change the Hit Dice or reactivate spellcasters, but initial credit would be nice ^_~

quick question:
if you do not recommend people to place the overrides in it proper folder, why release it in the first place? this isnt flame btw just a curious question that got the better of me :] nice system, i absolutley love it!

Hey, it cut out half of my comment! I explained how the backup of the dialog.tlk was useful because of the recent patch, and that I wouldn't be using this in the final module. Let's hope it doesn't cut out half of THIS comment...

Ok, it seems a lot of people AREN'T READING the instructions. Sometimes you think "oh they're going to tell me it goes in NWN\hak what do they think I am stupid?"
This is trickier than that!
You put the modernclasses.hak in the NeverwinterNights\NWN\hak folder, yet, BUT...
You put the dialog.tlk in NeverwinterNights\NWN
IT WILL REPLACE THE ORIGINAL FILE
THERE =IS= A BACKUP!
MY TLK =SHOULD BE= SAFE TO USE ON OTHER SERVERS WITHOUT SWITCHING BACK!
It WON'T WORK in NeverwinterNights\NWN\tlk !!!
Sorry about all the caps, but at least you know what to do now (I hope).
And for all of you who followed directions before this post, THANKYOU THANKYOU THANKYOU!
And on a side note... you can't see the new class list or recieve the hitdice change unless you use the override, because Neverwinter loads hakpaks AFTER character creation :'(
